Weeks had passed since the day I visited Mankayan and weeks had also passed since I saw Aki. I've been busy with my school staff lately, may e-edit pa akong picture for the journalism and review for the exam this coming week. I was so exhausted when I got home, I mean everyday I always feel it. Agad akong dumiretso sa aking kwarto para simulan ang pag e edit, I wear my glasses and face my laptop.
After an hour ramdam ko ang pananakit ng aking mga mata so I turn my sviwel chair around facing the door. I massage the bridge of my nose and let out a heavy sigh.
A knock on the door disturb the silence in my room. "Ohhh?" I ask to who's ever behind that door.
"Way bisitam (may bisita ka)" kuya said making me open my eyes.
Wala akong bisita ngayon ah, sino ba yan?. Tumayo ako at nag stretch, sa pag e stretch ko nakita ko ang phone ko sa gilid. Pano ko malalaman na may bisita ako kung di ko nao open ang cellphone ko ng halos dalawang araw?.
Bumaba nalang ako para tignan kung sino iyon. It was Cj and of course the two girls are with her. "My gashh!!!" They reacted when they see me.
Umirap ako na kinatawa nila. May mga pagkain na sa lamesa. Alam kung binili nila iyon, "amamagen yu sina? (Anong ginagawa niyo dito?)" I ask them ng maka upo ako sa tabi ni Ale.
"Shit kanan me et no soy naiyat en cka yan adi kan nan ononline (shit akala nga namin kung anong nangyari na sayu di ka nag oonline)" at yan lang ang tanging dahilan kung bakit sila napadpad dito sa bahay.
"Sorry adi (sorry na)" I said then pick one fries and eat it.
"What's the tea?" Esha started while slurping to her cup of coffee.
"Si JM naka buntis" natatawang sabi ni Cj, we all look at her in a shock way. JM is one of her friends, kaibigan din siya ni Aki.
"Sino?! (Ano?!)" Gulat na tanong ni Ale.
"My gadhhh" Esha reacted.
"Naka buntis daw siya, remember the party of Kiana? Her 19th birthday party kimi, naglabas daw sila ng hard drinks tapos ang ending mas malandi ang mga babae ayun" kwento niya.
Wala akong nagawa kundi ang ngumanga habang naka tingin sakanya na nag kwekwento. Oh my!!! Nakakagulat talaga dahil si Jm?! Jm is the son of the Mayor! A valedictorian in a class and had already a small company he is managing. Had a coffee shop and small boutique!. He is a dream boy to everybody! But?!! Gadh damn the news was like that?.
Cj look at our reaction one by one and bursted a laugh. "Tanginamo! For real ba yun!" Esha said saka siya binato ng cushion pillow.
She ended up her laugh and started wiping the small tears coming out from his eyes. Tears of joy yan?. "Hayyy, ngem seryoso naka buntis sisya (hayyy, pero seryoso naka buntis siya)" aniya saka humandusay sa single sofa kung saan siya naka upo.
