Nabil was too dumbfounded and flabbergasted to utter a word. How did she come to know about his past?

"I'm sorry about What Khadija did to you. But I think that shouldn't stop you from finding genuine love out there." Nabil's soul almost left his body when she mentioned Khadija's name.

"Who told you about all these?" He asked. "Have you forgotten I was together with your family in Lagos?" She asked folding her arms. Najma left no stone unturned in telling him all she knows about him. Nabil had no words for what he felt right there, this was the first time he felt genuinely loved after Khadija left.

How can you know all these about me and still choose to be with me?" Nabil asked Najma. "I guess that's why they say love is stupid." She let out a soft giggle that wasn't from the buttom of her heart.
Najma kept quiet for a while, as she started having a conversation with her heart. If only Nabil knew the huge battle she has to fight in order to be with him.

She can't get herself together to tell him that her parents would never approve of them. She has been waiting for the day that Nabil would confess love to her. She just couldn't let herself destroy her own happiness, even though she knows it's going to be short lived.

"Najma Hisham Ahmad." He called, making Najma felt a dangling sensation on her toe. She loved how he called out her full name. "Maybe the reason why I rejected you wasn't because I didn't feel the same way. You reminded me so much of my past with khadija. To think of breaking my vow was not an option."

"I never imagined I'd love any other woman again after Khadija. I have been through hell that starting over with someone new was something I dare not consider. But here you're, trying to prove to me that what I felt for her was fake compared to what I feel for you now. Najma you have taken over my thoughts, you're all that I can think of all day long. When I say all day long, I mean literally every minute. I breathe better when you're by my side, I can't stand the thought of losing you."

Najma stood there like a mannequin, half of her felt as If she was not in this world, while the other half of her was still in this world. "So Nabil loves her this much and he never said a word?"

"Najma I have loved you from the moment you stepped into my car when you came to seek safety. I have always loved you from the moment my eyes fell into yours. I knew I wouldn't see a much more beautiful pair of eyes than yours again."

"Wh....Why? Why did you never said a word? Nabil do you know how many times your rejection made me questioned my worth? Why did you never told me you equally feel the same?" Najma asked, trying to catch her breath.

"Maybe because I was still in denial. You know what I think? Men are more emotional than women. The reason why the world thinks Women are more emotionally weak it's because women are more emotionally expressive, while men hardly express their emotions. The world has forced men to be strong and hide their emotions. Believe me Najma, your love being the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to me, is the biggest weakness I would ever have to face.

Najma was still waiting for Nabil to tell that he's pulling her legs or something equivalent to that. But she knows Nabil isn't the type that jokes around. Everything is happening so fast that It feels like she has never went through hell before.

"So Najma Hisham Ahmad, would you still accept me even after knowing my past? I'm not a good person I know, but I will try......." Najma cut Nabil off, "Shhshh, I........I....... Don't need to hear that from you." She said stifling the tears of joy that were threatening to get out of control.

"Nabil, I know your perfections and flaws too. I willingly espoused to paint all your flaws into perfection. I choose to be with you because I genuinely love you, not only on your good days, but even on your worst days. Even on days you might fail to love yourself." Najma concluded and turned around to face him.
