"I wish you could stay here forever." Sultana declared holding on to Najma's hand. "I also wish I could stay you know." Najma meant what she said. The one week she has spent in Lagos with Nabil has been the best one week of her life. She wasn't even exaggerating that. She wished they could continue staying together. The thought of him having those female Christians ladies around him wailed up an anger in her.
She knew he said he was only going to stay in Lagos for 5 more days. But She felt like staying there with him. For unknown reasons, Him adding more days in Lagos didn't sit right with her. She felt as if his life was in danger there, despite she knows he has security over there.
"I hope you come back soon beautiful goddess, This time as my in-law." Aunty Hassana declared as she hugged Najma. As much as she liked Nabil, getting married to him was a thought that she never allowed to cross her mind. Even though she's not sure of what she feels for him, one thing certainly was there's no way she'd want to be a wife to Nabil.
"I hope to see you in the salon soon." Nabil's Mum declared with a smile. "Insha Allah Maami." She replied with a smile as she bow her head. "Najma are you sure we won't call your mummy and beg her to allow you to relocate to Lagos? Seems everyone here has gotten so attached to you." Ummah declared.
"It'd be a pleasure for us to have her here." Anty Hassana declared. Najma stretched her neck before entering the car , In hope of seeing Nabil. "He actually left for work early in the morning." Sultana whispered. "I know you're looking for him, You don't need to give me that look." Sultana teased.
She wished Nabil came to say goodbye. Just when she thinks she's very important to him, that's when he does something to crash all her hopes. "Mummy I don't want to go. I want to stay with Dada." Haidar wailed refusing to get into the car. "Your Dada is at work, We have to leave my baby." Najma tried to pacify Haidar but to no avail.
Just then, Nabil's car drove into the compound and a police officer came out of the front seat and opened the door for Nabil. "Dada!" Haidar jumped excitedly as he ran to hug Nabil. He picked Haidar up and came to where the family was standing. "You arrived just on time. He was just saying he wants to stay with you, And they have a flight to catch." Anty Hassana said.
"Little champ, you guys have to leave sadly. But I promise to come see you at home , okay?" Nabil declared. "Do you know my house?" Haidar innocently asked . "Yes I do. I also live in Kano you know." He replied with a smile.
After much persuasion , Haidar agreed to get into the car with the rest. Nabil didn't say a word to Najma but he bade Basma and Hajiya good bye. She wished she could step out of that car to give him a good beating that'd bring him back to his senses.

Kano."I thought the princess was not ready to wake up until tomorrow." Mummy teased after Najma joined her in the parlor downstairs. Since they arrived Kano, Najma complained of back pains. She ate and slept off.
"Mummy you won't understand how I feel." Najma slurred. "Of course I know how you feel. I know how bad your cramps can get. I'm your mother afterall." Mummy declared. "Where's Haidar?" Najma asked looking around.
"He slept off a couple of minutes ago. He keeps mentioning Dada promised to come and see him . Who is this Dada of a person?" Mummy asked making Najma's heart sank. She has never hid anything from Mummy. But she just couldn't bring herself together to tell her about Nabil. She knows she is one of those people that sees him as a Casanova which he sadly is.
"Well he's talking about a nice man he met Lagos. He's Anty Hassana's nephew." She declared. "Oh I see. Haven't you seen what I got for you?" Mummy asked. "Really? What's that?" Najma asked with a smile.
