"Mummy please convince Daddy to take me along." Najma whined. "I'm sorry Baby,But it's not within my power. It's just been 10 days since you came back to us. You need to rest. I promise to get you lots of Turaren Wuta and body khumra." Mummy promised.
"Mummy don't try to bribe me, and besides you're leaving Haidar behind with me." Najma whined. "It's a surprise, don't make me spill the beans. Your Daddy sent you over to Basma's for a reason. When you get there you'll know." Mummy declared smiling.
"No ifs or buts, Just call Basma to come help you with your suitcases. Wait, Where are you going with 2 suitcases? We're just going to be away for a week not a month. It's you after all, why am I even surprised?" Mummy shook her head as she laughed.
"Well Never to be caught unfresh" Najma flipped her invisible hair. "Where's Haidar Mummy? Aren't you going to leave soon?" Najma asked.
"He is with his Daddy, They will be back shortly" Mummy announced. "Okay Let me get going . You can bring him to me before you leave." Najma declared making her way out.
"Najma, What about the suitcases?" Mummy called out. "I'd send their house help to come for them" Najma declared. She went directly to Basma's house. "What a sight! What are you doing in the living room today? Tell me a dangerous reptile is inside your room that's why you're here." Najma teased as she came in further.
"You know I'm better than you. You're worst than me. You can spend months in the room without coming out to sit in the parlor. Even Mummy follows you to your room when she wants to gist with you." Basma declared.
"That aside. You didn't tell me you were coming, I was even thinking of coming to see you later. Daddy has finally agreed to allow you to start coming out, huh?" Basma teased. "Hmmmm you very well know who Daddy is. He didn't allow me to start coming out because he wanted to. Circumstances led to that" Najma declared with her hands at akimbo. Basma bursted out into series of laughter. Najma just had to make everything dramatic. "Come and sit. From all indications you've gist" Basma squealed.
"So Today after I woke up from sleep, Mummy informed me that they will be traveling to Maiduguri today. So they will be leaving Haidar and I behind in your house." Najma declared. "What? This sounds strange. You've always went together."
"Exactly what I said too. Maybe they want to have a honeymoon. Mummy said there's a surprise that will be waiting for me here." Najma declared. "A surprise? I don't think so. Mummy Is just trying to make you feel better."
"We will get to know that later when they bring Haidar. For now, Tell me you've raw chicken wings in the freezer please? Don't worry, I'll go to the kitchen myself and prepare it" Najma giggled.
"Wings will soon start growing on your head." Basma shook her head as she laughed. "Well I'm sorry to disappoint you. We don't have any chicken wings. But we can go to Sahad store and get some."
"What if Mummy comes to drop Haidar and doesn't find me here? " Najma asked. "You've a point, I think Hammad is home. I'll beg him to get some for us."Basma declared standing up.

"Take good care of yourself and Haidar please." Mummy hugged Najma. "I'll Mummy. Don't worry about us."
"So about the surprise, Tell me Mummy" Najma announced smiling. "Hajiya you should tell her " Mummy declared looking at Basma's Mum. Najma and Basma were dumbfounded and they kept staring at them. "Well Basma's Dad has been sent to Lagos on an official visit. So he decided to take his family along. Since we're going to Maiduguri and you haven't fully recovered. You and Haidar will go along with the family to Lagos." Najma's Mum announced.
