Bold for Jake Sully's narration (just for this chapter...maybe)

My feet are getting tougher. I can run farther everyday

The pair ran together through the branches bow in both of their hands.

Ri'lani was running ahead of Jake over the branches her competitiveness shining through as Jake tried to keep up with her

She glanced back before swinging herself over to the next branch. Jake followed taking an intake of air before copying her movements

I have to trust my body to know what to do

He stuck the landing as Ri'lani nodded at him before taking off again.

He thought back to his time riding direhorse hours before.

"Check it out!" He yelled as he guided the horse forward Ri'lani watching eagerly. Of course moments later he fell off of the horse causing a string of curses from himself and loud laughter from Ri'lani

Hearing her laugh, maybe it wasn't so bad failing he thought.

Moving back to the forest it had started to rain as Ri'lani scaled the ground, she observed her surroundings, feeling the tree and noticing a set of tracks.

She lowered herself and touched the tracks, bringing her fingers to her nose she inhaled the scent before looking off into the distance

Everyday, it's reading the trails, the tracks at the waterhole, the tiniest scents and sounds.

The pair crawled along the floor of the forest as they came across a mother viperwolf and her 3 pups.

Jake lifted his head in wonder as he stared at them, unbeknownst to him Ri'lani was watching his reaction with a small smile on her face

She's always going on about the flow of energy, the spirits of animals. I really hope this tree-hugger crap isn't on the final.

He's pulled away from the memory as grace interupts his speaking, "this isn't just about eye-hand coordination out there, you know. You need to listen to what she says. Try to see the forest through her eyes" Jake held an expression of disbelief before jokingly interrupting her

"Excuse me. This is my video log here," he said sassily pointing to the computer screen, of course Grace was unbothered.

he then returned to the memory of the events that had occurred during the day.

The pair were back to running along the branches, though Ri'lani was running faster as she slid her bow over her shoulders, she then leaped off the branch falling on the huge leaves that broke her fall.

Jake watched as she glided down the leaves until she gracefully reached the bottom and looked up expectantly,

Though Ri'lani is patient, she has her moments when it's really learn fast or die

"Oh, you gotta be kidding me" he said as he slid his arrow over his shoulders taking a step back. He leaped with a yell as he ungracefully fell through vines and slapped through smaller branches. He fell on a mushroom in front of her to where she grimaced.

"Perhaps...I should've....prepared you more for that." She said with an awkward smile to where he looked at her as he got up

"You think?" He said sarcastically before they both of them started laughing

I talked Mo'at into letting grace and Norm into the village

Ri'lani stood next to Jake as Grace and the nerdy avatar who's name she had come to learn was Norm greeted her mother
