Twelve

Night time had arrived as members of the clan sat circled around the spirit tree. Ri'lani sat beside her standing mother, her  braid was already connected to one of the spirit trees branches.

Jake carried Graces human body as Norm carried her avatar body as Neytiri trailed behind them. Jake's head tilted down to Grace as he spoke to her, "look where we are Grace"

The women tilted her head as she gasped in wonder at the bright bioluminescence of the spirit tree. Her eyesight stayed fixated on it for a moment, "I need to take some samples" she weakly whispered causing Jake to chuckle at the scientist that remained despite the situation she was in.

Norm sat Graces avatar body gentle at the rocks that stood at the end of the tree. Jake followed behind as he sat her human body down in front of the avatar body. As the bodies made contact with the stone almost immediately vines from the spirit tree gently wrapped around the bodies.

Jake watched cautiously before his gaze shifted to Ri'lani who sat with her braid connected to a branch. Mo'at who took notice of his confused expression before gesturing to Grace and her avatar, "With Ri'lanis help in guidance, the great mother may choose to save all that she is.." her hands moved to graces avatar, "in this body".

Jake looked down at his friend before looking back up at Mo'at, "is that possible?" An expression of sorrow appeared on Mo'ats face for a brief moment, "she must pass through the eye of Eywa and return. But Jakesully, she is very weak" she stated sadly as her gaze tilted down to the human women.

Scrunching his eyebrows together he leaned down to Grace whispering words of encouragement.

Mo'at moved to the center of the stone slab as the clan moved together in circular motions, Ri'lani in her place had her eyes closed as she waited for the Great Mothers and Graces presence.

"Hear us please, All mother" Mo'at spoke as the clan followed with their own chants, "Eywa, Help her"

"Take this spirit into you.. and breath her back to us "

"Eywa help her"

"Let her walk among us, as one of the people"

Ri'lani eyes opened and her surroundings were not of the Spirit tree but of a peaceful clearing in the forest of pandora. She looked around confused, expecting to see Grace right away.

There was a much regal Na'vi who stepped forward, she was adorned in regular Navi clothes as her body was striped with white facepaint to match her Snow White hair. Unlike Ri'lani, her hair was fully white instead of the streak of white in Ri'lanis' hair.

Ri'lani recognizing her immediacy lowered her head in respect, "Great mother.." she whispered before she felt a hand touch her shoulder.

"My child.." Eywa whispered looking at the women in front of her, "Why have you all called to me?"

Ri'lani rose her head, "there is a human, a human who acts more Navi then human" she said chuckling her eyes growing wet with unshed tears, "she is gravely injured...we ask that you help save her" she finished desperation in her voice.

The figure appeared silent for a moment before speaking, "I'm afraid there is nothing I can do...her injuries, they are to vast for her to make the travel" The great mother spoke sadly referring to Grace needing to reach her avatar. Eywas head traveled in a different direction as her eyes took notice of something.

Ri'lani followed her gaze as she saw Grace walking into the clearing her eyes full of wonder before they fell on the figure that was Eywa.... "Oh my....your real....i always knew" she spoke in disbelief.
