Ri'lani awoke with excitement, today was the day Jake would earn his place among the people. She felt tremendous amounts of joy and pride for her student who was about to start his journey as one of the people

Jake was still asleep in the hammock next to her, she assumed he must be busy with sky people stuff. She crouched down on the branch and observed him

She really shouldn't but she found her eyes drifting down to his chest, she shook her head and stood up deciding to leave before he wakes up and catches her

Making her way down the tree she saw Neytiri who quickly noticed her sister approaching, she waved her over

"Sister, I see you" Neytiri said motioning with her hand to her head

"I see you, tiri" she said with a smile copying her sisters movements, Neytiri's smile replaced with a teasing smirk, "I suppose everyone judged Jakesully to hard, perhaps his teacher is the one who did all the work"

Ri'lani let out a mix of a gasp and a laugh, "I do not take all the credit, he surprisingly learned very well"

"Learned well for a skyperson" Neytiri said teasingly rolling her eyes before her face turned serious

"Why did we stumble upon him? it was no accident it seemed" Neytiri asked

Ri'lani looked down in thought before looking up at her sister seriously, "I felt as if something was guiding me to him, the atokorinas confirmed my suspicions. She was guiding me to him tiri"

"Eywa?" Ri'lani nodded her head, "have you told mother this? This is something she would like to know"

"Mother would be interested yes, but she would grow weary, why would eywa be leading me to a sky person..." she sighed, "I was going to tell her, but I couldn't..."

"I won't force you to tell her I just think that she could help better understand this, she is tsahik" Neytiri said causing her sister to nod

"I fear this connection might grow into something else tiri...." She said before her face started to grow red, "and I don't think I mind that" in response Neytiri tilted her head observing her sister who had just admitted what was bothering her

In truth Ri'lani had been thinking of Jake more and she started to view him as more then just her student. He had come a long way and was becoming a fine na'vi despite his sky people heritage. She started to view him past his background and instead what he had become one would say she developed a crush for him but because of Tsu'tey and there betrothal she couldn't help but feel guilty for her thoughts of Jake

Sensing her confliction, Neytiri decided to change the mood, "how about before you prepare Jake we spend time together?" She asked a small smile coming to her face to hide her playfulness

Ri'lani looked at her sister a small smile on her face as the pair ran towards the areas where the ikrans rested

When they arrived Ri'lani mounted Katir with excitement as her sister did as well mounting her on ikran Seze

Ri'lani tilted her head to Neytiri before letting out a cry and diving off the branch into the sky as Neytiri did the same trailing behind her

The pair flew together in the skies of pandora, the sun kissed there skin and the wind flowed through their hair, both were content in each others company

Before Ri'lani was never this close with Neytiri, she was always busy with her head in the clouds it's sad to say but the death of their older sister brought them together. They spent every moment together and it's moments like this that the pair could feel a third with them, they both knew deep down that Slywanin flew together alongside them
