The Party

The kids were running around playing in the large backyard, while the adults sipped wine and supervised the events. Raichelle had rented the deluxe party pack so Arianna was in her glory. There was a bounce house, splash tower water dunk, potato sack race, arts and craft station, a water slide, and face painting. She bought a cotton candy maker, popcorn machine, and snow cone machine. They could be used again and they didn't really cost that much so she was ok with it. Raichelle and Gabriel allowed the kids to plan their own party's. So Arianna picked unicorns and the color lavender as her theme. She wanted her party to be like a fair. Johanna hooked up her iPhone to the surround sound speaking and they set it up out with her play list set to kids bop, so there wouldn't be any controversial language in the music. When Raichelle began making arrangements for the party she knew she would be too tires to even think about cooking, because she worked the night before. She pre ordered a party 3 platters of assorted subs, 200 assorted wings 3 cheese pizzas, cheese and cracker platter, veggie platter a few casses of assorted soda for the adults, 5 huggie boxes and 2 casses of water. Arianna had invited her best friend Lashay, all the kids she knew from school. Raichelle best friend Zora had 5 kids. Johanna had a 2 year old son named Joshua and of course Josiah and Dora were in attendance.
Raichelle didn't even know Gabriel was back untill she heard Arianna yelling "Watch this daddy" as she did a flip into the bounce house. "Good job babygirl. Be careful ok." He stood there smiling with his focus on her and Dora. He hadn't even came to greet Raichelle and let her know he was back or anything. She shook her head, rolled her eyes and continued her conversation with the parents she was talking with. "Mom where did you hide Arianna's gift?" Came over and asked. Raichelles eyes got huge. "Oh, I gotta go get it. Johanna cover the party for me for a few minutes. I gotta run and grab it." Jojo eyebrows creased together. "I thought you were gonna ask Gabriel to get it." I did she huffed as she grabbed her wine glass and plate of cheese and crackers headed back into the house with Johanna following her. "So he said no?" Raichelle rushed to her room grabbing her purse and keys. "He said he had something to take care of. But it cool, I already paid for it, so I just gotta run in and grab. I'll be right back." Johanna grabbed Raichelle keys and purse and set them down on the dresser."What are you doing little girl." She asked reaching for her stuff. "You know Arianna gonna have a fit if you leave. It's at Walmart right." Rai was so happy she could cry. "OMGosh...thank you so much love." Johanna nodded her head and left out quickly. "That ninja know he wrong." She mumbled to herself as she was leaving out the front door. "But shit, I needed a smoke break anyway." She said rummaging through her purse to find her bag of weed and rollie.
Raichelle stopped in the kitchen to straighten up a little before she headed back outside. "What you doing in here?" Gabriel asked her leaning on the doorframe to the backyard. "I was about to go get Arianna gift, but Jojo went for me instead, so I decided to straighten up a bit, cause I wanna get a nap before I head into work tonight." She answered while starting the dish water. There wasn't much to do, but she hated going to bed with a messy kitchen. "Arianna saw you leave and was wondering where you were going." He stated nonchalantly. "I'll be out in a minute. She's git all them people here to celebrate her day, she'll be alright for a few more minutes." Rai put a few things back in the cabinet, and fridge before wiping down the counters and around the faucet of the sink. "Well why don't you head back outside and I'll take care of this for you." He told her grabbing the dishrag. "Alrighty then." She hunched her shoulders and went outside.
After the kids played for a little while long, Raichelle called them over to eat, cut the cake and sing happy birthday. Johanna made back in time to help, along with all the other women there. By the time Arianna started opening her presents Rai was yawning and rubbing her eyes. She had barely gotten any sleep since she got off this morning at 6am and her body was telling her she desperately needed rest. Zora noticed how tired Raichelle looked "Hey babes, you ready to call it a night?" Arianna was in her glory sliding down the water slide and all the kids were still running around enthusiastically. She hated to cut their fun short, but she knew halfway through her shift she'd be like a zombie if she didn't. Reluctantly she nodded her head. Zora got Johanna and Gabriel attention and let them know it was time to shut it down. Within 30 minutes all the guests were gone and there 3 big garbage full. The only thing left to do was put the tables and party pack up. Gabriel and Parker  (Johanna's significant other) said they would handle it.

Raichelle stood in the shower and allowed the hot water to soothe her aching muscles. On top of everything she had to take care of she added going to the gym 3 days a week because she noticed a pudge forming in her stomach. Since having her children she never went back to her 125lbs from her graduation years. She wasn't obese, but she also wasn't the size she would like to be. Everyone said she wasn't fat, but she saw something different in the mirror. Standing 5"2 185lbs felt huge to her. She was always top heavy, her bra size was a 38ddd and she had a nice little booty that matched her figure. Her thighs and legs were thick and she loved them, but that stomach had to go. She even began to feel love handles on her sides. She refused to get fat. Since she didn't have time to go to the gym today she just did 50 push ups, squats, lunges each and did planks for 2 mins in between each position.
By the time she got done with her shower, lotioned her body and pulled the blackout curtains she didn't even need her usual sleep music. She made sure her alarm was set and flopped down in the bed. She was sleep before her head hit the pillow.
