Complete Pt. 1: A piece of light || Hyunlix

1. A dreamer

Hyunjin's pov:

"No! Please! Let me go!" I screamed, while the cold, pale hands holding my arms and legs tightly pushed their sharp, long nails through my skin. I let out a short scream of pain. I felt the pain in my arm and the drops of blood running down my cold skin.

Nobody answered. I only heard someone laughing with an insane voice and the hands continued ripping my skin. I tried to struggle out of the grab of the bony hands, but the pain got worse when I tried to move. I was stuck.

I leaned back while trying to set myself free and hit my head to a cold, rocky wall. I was in the same place as always. The cold, dark cave without a single light nowhere to be seen. The only sources of light were little holes in the roof, where the pale moonlight got in and gave just enough light for my eyes to see the blooddrops running down my body and dropping to the floor making a little puddle.

One of the hands grabbed my bare shoulder harshly. It started pulling and ripping it until I heard a rip right next to my ear and felt the unbearable pain under the thin, but strong fingers. I groaned and turned my head to look at my shoulder. I flinched, when I saw my humerus sticking out of the large rupture of my flesh and the blood gushing from it. The blood flowed like water from a fountain and the red liquid splashed to my face and chest.

I felt how my blood and the tears of pain flowed among my cheeks. I wanted this torture to end.

"Stop... I beg..." I sobbed, but the hands didn't answer. Then suddenly the ripping stopped. The hands still held me still and one of them crawled under my chin. The hands constricted around my neck and started to choke me harder and harder. Then a voice said:

"Are you hiding something? You know that nobody hides anything from me..."

'No... Let me go...' I thought while the choking of the pair of hands stopped me from breathing. I closed my eyes. I was praying for the pain to end soon. In seconds it would be over. I could be in peace. In the final peace...

FLASH!

A quick, but a powerful flash of light lighted the whole dark space. I heard bloodhurdling, deep screaming and felt how the hands around my neck and on my body let go. However the pain hadn't dissappeared and the blood kept flowing from my shoulder. I opened my eyes and gasped.

A beautiful creature, white as the light of sun, was sitting in front of me. It reminded me of a human, but it's skin shined and it had large, white wings in it's back. Was it... an angel? Had I died? Finally?

"Who are you?" I asked from the creature. 

It didn't answer. It put it's arms around me and hugged me. The arms of the creature slid through every wound of my body caused by the hands. Surprisingly it didn't hurt at all. The pain started to ease quickly as the creature touched my skin. After a while the whole pain was gone. I looked at my shoulder. It looked completely normal.

The creature separated it's body from the warm embrace. It put it's hand on my chest and the other hand on it's chest. It listened to the beat of our hearts and then smiled. It looked directly at my eyes. It's eyes were very pretty, like two little lakes shining in the moonlight. Then it said with calm voice:

"HEY DUMBASS! DIDN'T YOU HEAR ME? WAKE UP OR I'M GONNA POUR MY AMERICANO TO YOUR HEAD!"

"What the fu..."

I opened my eyes and woke up in my own room. I felt the chills running through my body. My quick breath started to slow down.

'It was just a nightmare...'

I turned my head and saw my sister standing right next to my bed. She looked annoyed, but she still had a smile on her face.

"Finally. Prince Aurora has woken up from his sleep!" she said and chuckled.
