Many years ago, around 8000 A.D., we were on a planet far away from Earth. It was called Purpura. The whole planet was purple with a little bit of blue sprinkled on because of the water. The central part of the planet was completely uninhabitable, because it was very hot, there was no vegetation, no animals, no bugs, it was a big wasteland, life existed only in the northern and southern parts of the planet. The southern part was just wilderness and the northern part was civilized, there were people there but they were not just any people. They skin color was purple, lighter for some, darker for others. They had purple hair and purple eyes, and very rarely did they have anything blue or greenish or brownish purple. We call them Purpurians. They formed one and only country, to be more precise, they formed a kingdom.
On the outskirts of the kingdom, farmers cultivated their fields and crops, cared for their animals, and had animals that looked like the ones we have. For example, their chicken looked almost the same as ours, but the cows looked different, although the usability of the cows was the same as ours. The citizens worked in guilds, at home, as merchants or as soldiers. There were many small villages in the kingdom but only was one big city which was also the capital. The name of the country was also the same as the name of the planet, except that it included the adjective kingdom, the Kingdom of Purpura. And because it was a kingdom, of course there was a king and a royal court. The word purpura is Latin for purple, and their culture was similar to that of the Romans, the buildings too, the people's clothes too. Around 29 BC, an explorer was taken on Purpura to show the country, and when he went home, the culture was taken over by the republic, later the empire, in what later became the Roman Empire. We are in the deserted fields where we can see the daily life of the villagers, and one or two town's people have passed through. Peace enveloped the people and the country, until strange voices came from the distance, and the sound grew louder and louder. It was as if an army of beasts, barbarians, and other unearthly creatures were shouting and the sound was getting louder. The guards shouted into the PA system:
Guards: Attention! This is a state of emergency! Monster troops are on their way to the eastern border. I ask all Purpurians to evacuate themselves and their families! Everyone must leave the city immediately!
One of the guards headed towards the capital to report what he saw at the eastern border. The king ordered a military operation to protect the country and its citizens. By the time the army arrived on the scene, the army of monsters was already vandalizing village buildings and injuring, killing or kidnapping the people. The two sides went to fight but the monsters were clearly stronger. The monsters have already made their way to the capital. The army of monsters is made up of all kinds of creatures and unearthly monsters, like werewolves, giant insects, and other entities, even ones that nobody has named, they were so different. The warlord of monsters advanced within the army. He was called the "Warlord", although that was not his real name. He shouted:
Warlord: Surrender, purpurians!
There was no reply from the King.
Warlord: I see...Attack!
As the monsters rushed towards the city, suddenly someone, five in all, threw himself into the monsters and killed dozens of them. But these weren't purpurians, they weren't purple skin at all, they were more of a whitish or brownish shade. Purpurian citizens found them strange because of their difference, but they knew more than that. They had superhuman abilities. For example, some had the power of wind, some controlled gravity, some controlled water, some controlled fire and the lastly some controlled the earth.
There was one who stood out even among them. His name was Hagen, he used a fire element and was from one of the nomadic Germanic nations. He was of course the leader of the team of five. Not only because he is a true leader, charismatic, makes the right decisions most of the time and because he is the strongest in the team, but because he had a special trump card above and beyond his control of the fire. It was known as the "Phase Eye". In appearance, they had eyes that were completely white except for the flame-red pupils. While the other superheroes can use their powers any time and any way they want, the one with the Phase Eye can only use his powers by drawing his special eyes. Of course, this is not much of an advantage so far, but the power of the eye is a great strength. Thanks to the Phase Eye, you can teleport yourself and anyone you want, but it only works if you know the place you want to teleport to geographically, and you can only teleport others if the other person touch the person with the Phase Eye. Teleportation can be useful if monsters attack at a certain point and the heroes must to be able to get to the location immediately. It can also extract information from others, such as where the enemy's weak point is, or what he is thinking, or whether or not he is telling the truth when he speaks. These eyes give the user a huge advantage. Of course, the eye has its weaknesses, but I'll talk about that another time.
The heroes attacked and killed the monsters all at once. They've killed every monster except the Warlord of Monsters. He was not a monster, but he was not a purpurian because he had a greenish skin and his hair was dark green. A citizen was near the heroes.
Citizen: A Prásinosian?! Why would they want to attack the kingdom?
Prásinos(planet) and his citizens are not that far apart, so the two nations/species started to communicate with each other. Their culture was based on Greek culture. Their culture and later Greek states took over when an Athenian explorer passed through the country. The Warlord was harder to fight than a whole army of monsters at once. The fight went on much longer. And although in the end the heroes won overall, the Warlord managed to escape. But everyone knew that he would return, and would not rest until he had destroyed the kingdom. This is the beginning of the war between Purpura and Prásinos, where for some reason monsters are fighting instead of Prásinosians. But for Purpura, the superheroes were the best army, of course Purpura also sent soldiers to the battlefield, but the most powerful were the heroes. The two sides clashed more and more often, and most of the time the heroes were victorious, but they couldn't end the war completely, but there were times when occupied some of the capital for a while, and then the superheroes took it back. Years later, the superheroes had aged to the point where they were no longer strong enough to protect the country and its people, but their powers could be passed on to someone else who could protect the nation or never betray them.
The heroes themselves cannot find these people, but their abilities can. More specifically, those who gave the heroes their abilities. They came out of the bodies of the heroes. They had a spherical shape, and they only call themselves "Gom". By coming out of the heroes' bodies, the heroes do not lose their abilities, simply the Goms seek a new host to protect the citizens of this kingdom, and the orb-like entities called Goms sense who is best suited to use the force. They set out on a journey around the Purpurian people, but they felt that even if they found a suitable person, they could not give them their power, because if they gave it to them, they would not be able to take the elemental and would die, so Purpurian cannot be hosts, but where the old heroes come from, the Earth, the people there would easily take the power. They went there and looked for the best people. Then they found them and took them to Purpura. They noticed that none of them have the Phase Eyes, which is why people started to worry about it, and then the superheroes started to calm people down. The newbies were trained and a little later they went into battle against the monsters to chase their newfound destiny.
Without the Phase Eye, of course, everything was more difficult, but they still managed to hold their own. Later, these heroes also grew old after a while and the Goms were also looking for hosts. Once again, the older heroes trained the newer ones, once again they fought, once again they could not end the war, once again they grew old and lastly once again the Goms were looking for a new host, and this has been going on for a very, very long time. A lot of superhero teams didn't have a Phase eye, because being a Phase eye is a rarity and a privilege compared to other heroes. A legend is also born: There will be a Phase Eye who will put an end to the long-lasting conflict. So far, not even the rare Phase Eyes have been able to do anything for peace. So far there have only been 3 phase eyes. But what about today?
