A monster appears in the Downtown West district of Minneapolis, USA. The team quickly teleported there. Even here, Daniel didn't help the team, but rather assisted the civilians. Simply because he hadn't yet dared to fight alongside his teammates. This monster was a much stronger opponent, and a bigger one. It was huge in stature and strength. They knew it would be a tough fight. The team was trying to make up for their past shortcomings. They even devised a rudimentary tactic. It looked good at first, but it soon became clear they had nothing on him. Unlike the previous monsters, hitting until one of them lost wasn't enough here, but it was little here, even with their tactics. A very powerful monster sent the team to the floor.
Daniel: (Damn, we're in a really bad situation! The others are almost knocked out, the army's not here!)
Daniel was alone, he had to fight. It was then that he remembered that he had trained hard to be the best he could be, and now he could show what he could do. His teleportation can also be used to attack, so that he can teleport in front of, behind, beside or above the monster at a moment's notice and attack it with a quick strike. He quickly teleported in front of the monster, and with his Sabre he made a deep cut on its left hand. People and even your Heroes Five just watched this strange series of attacks. He tried more teleporting and cutting. That wasn't enough for the monster. He also tried ice showers and variations of that. But mostly he went for teleportation sword slashing and fighting with water and ice. He got tired of that. He knew he couldn't beat it alone, so he surrounded the monster with walls of ice to gain some time for himself. Daniel quickly rushed to his teammates.
Daniel: Guys, I gained some time for us.
Joe: Wow! Since when did you get so strong?
Miyuki: Not bad! But now we have to figure out how to defeat this beast.
Arthur: I'm sure it's fireproof, because my fire is useless against it. maybe Joe was somewhat useful, but I think Diana's gravity shift affected it too.
Daniel used his eyes to try to get information from the monster trapped in the ice wall and noticed that there were cracks in its head. Right where Joe had attacked the monster.
Daniel: I've got an idea how to beat it
Daniel explained the plan, everyone liked it. The team was reinvigorated. Then the monster got out of the ice wall and the Heroes Five's tactics began. They surrounded the monster. Diane used gravity to hold the monster in place so it couldn't move. Daniel used water to hold down one of the monster's hands, Miyuki used chains to hold down the other, Arthur used solidified lava to hold down its legs. Joe would have been ready to hit the monster with a terrifyingly powerful punch, but the monster got out of the trap. Daniel didn't think twice and first he made a wound on the monster's outer layer, keeping it busy for a while. Once again, he was trapped and Joe now actually killed the monster. It was the end of a difficult fight, yet they felt they had easily defeated it thanks to Daniel's tactics. Daniel was immediately assaulted by reporters, who bombarded him with all sorts of questions. Daniel didn't answer any of the questions, after a few seconds of silence Daniel just said:
Daniel: The world is safe again... Let's go home!
Then he left. The biggest surprise was that his teammates did the same, even though they always gave interviews outside of this one. The Heroes Five are finally acting like a real team and ready for the obstacles ahead. But this story is not over yet, as it has only just begun.
