Daniel is in the practice room training for the Second Phase. Tracker has been watching Daniel to make sure nothing goes wrong. In fact, the walls and ceiling of the room are a special kind of very thick glass that even the power of the Second Phase can't shatter. There were days when the whole training seemed to be a regression, and there were also days when there was a big improvement. In the meantime, he has done well at school and has made friends with most people, at least not bad ones, and has a rather positive opinion of Daniel.

Ever since Daniel's parents died and he decided to do his best to save people, he has been training a lot harder, and with results. He thought to himself that he couldn't let anyone else die who was important to him or someone else. You could see the suffering on his face. Tracker called Daniel.

Tracker: I think you should stop for today.

Daniel: I can't until I learn how to use this shit.

Tracker: You haven't even done your homework.

Daniel: I don't have that much homework anyway, so I have time.

...

Tracker: Daniel... I know how much it hurts you to hear about your parents' death, but over train yourself just because of that is stupid.

Daniel: So what should I do? Nuthin'?

Tracker: Of course not, but you're only making it worse. I've agreed to let you practice this a little more, but if you do it too long, it's only going to get worse. Trust me on this!

Daniel: I was wondering who killed my parents. Aarne did this?

Tracker: He doesn't know who you really are. I highly doubt it was someone on the monster team.

Daniel: But what if...

Tracker: Calm down! Make this your priority. You know my father was killed by a robber when they tried to rob his music store. And the robber saw no choice but to take my father's life. Was the robber wrong? Yes, he did. Did he have a other choice? Yes, because he didn't want any witnesses. That's how the man thought. That's probably how a robber thought. Speaking of which. The police caught the man who killed your parents.

Daniel: Did they catch him? Then you were right.

Tracker: If you want to talk to that man, I can talk to the CIA, they can handle it.

Daniel: Thanks, but I don't want to see his face.

Tracker: I believe you.

Daniel: Well...maybe I should get a rest for today.
