Irene POV

Over the next hour I talked all about my time in Norway, not missing a single detail. "And that is how Andy fell of the tree."

Everyone started laughing at what my friend, Andy Brown did. I'm really going to miss them all. I'm probably going to miss all the scenery since Europe is quite different compared to America.

"Wow, it seems like you went on an adventure instead Mira," Jake said, flashing his teeth and dimples at me.

"Yep, and I'm going to have hell printing the pictures out," I joked. I saw them smile but when I looked at Bella there was nothing. Nothing but a blank look on her face.

"Well, we're going to go now," Billy announced, as he and Jake left the room. "It was lovely to see you again, Irene. Have a great rest."

"Thank you, Billy," I said as I hugged him and Jacob out. When they finally left and Dad told us that he was going to the station to get some paperwork, I knew that it was time to talk to Bella. And the second Dad left I walked up to her and stood in-front of her with hands on my hips. "Alright Bella cut the crap. What the hell is going on with you?"

"What?" She asked with a confused look on her face.

"Oh, don't ask so innocent, you know what I'm talking about Isabella," I exclaimed as I sat down in-front of her with a stern look on my face. "Now tell me what's going on with you."

"Ri, there is nothing going on with me," she announced.

"Oh yeah?" I asked not convinced. "Then where's Cullen?"

My question made her tense up, "I don't know what you're talking about."

"For fuck's sake Bella! He left you! Dad told me everything about what happened after your birthday party at their house!"

"It wasn't like that," she whispered.

"Then what was it like?" I asked curious.

"After school ended, I went to their house as Alice planned a party for me," Bella started to answer while looking at her fingers. "When I was opening a present, I accidentally cut my finger, causing Jasper to lose control. To protect me, Edward pushed me behind him, but it felt like he threw me, making me hit the wall and fall onto a table full of glasses, cutting my arm in the process. After that everyone left before Carlisle took care of my injuries."

I felt myself nod at her story. It was true that vampires can't handle their taste for blood, human blood especially. I may have not been there with her, but I could see it happening before my eyes. "Continue please."

"After that, Edward took me home," she added. "That was the last time I heard from him for two days before I finally saw him. He went into the woods, so I followed him. There he told me that he and the rest of his family were leaving Forks. I wanted to go with him, but he didn't want me to. I asked him why and he told me that I was in danger when I was with him. I tried to reason with him to let me come with him, but he broke my heart when he told me that he didn't want me. He left me after telling me to not do anything stupid. I went after him. I walked for so long, trying to catch up to him but it was too dark. I was in the middle of the woods, alone. I fell asleep on the floor and the next thing I knew I was in my room."

Holy shit. Those were the only words running through my mind now. I thought I understood stupidity, but this was a whole other level. "Bella, do you understand that you could have been hurt because of you following him? Hell, Victoria could have found you and killed you!"

"Don't you think I know that?!" Bella yelled. "But I didn't care then. I didn't care about anything but him then. And nothing will change that now, not even you." With those words, she got up from her seat and ran upstairs to her room, slamming the door behind her.

"God, teenagers are a handful," I muttered as I ran my hands through my hair before deciding to go to my room and unpack. I got my bags and went upstairs to my room. It was the smallest room in the house, but I didn't mind. It had white walls, a single bed, a bedtable, and a rack with hangers for all my clothes. Even though my room was the smallest, it was the brightest and cosiest.

I dropped my bags on the floor and dropped onto my bed, face first inhaling the new scent of lavender.

Ah, it's good to be back home.

Not.
