Chapter 9

Irene POV

The next day I woke up refreshed with a healthy mindset. I took a nice hot relaxing bath filled with bubbles, I had the opportunity to wash my hair properly after being yesterday in the woods, and I also had time to shave properly. So, this morning was good.

After I finished my bath and rinsed the bathtub, I dressed in a new pair of panties and matching bra, black skinny jeans, a white t-shirt, and a red hoodie that matched my red converse shoes. I done my hair up into a bun and put on lip balm before going downstairs to see Bella waiting at the door. "Morning Bella."

"Morning Ri, are you today?" she asked as she watched me pour cereal into a bowl then the milk.

"Alright," I answered, "although I would have been better if I knew about those things."

"Ri, I swear I did not know huge wolves existed!" Bella exclaimed as I ate my breakfast calmly, watching her throw a temper tantrum. Ha! Who's the child now? "Ri if I knew I would have told you. I swear."

I raised an eyebrow at her. "Really? Just like you told me about Eddy and his family. Or dreadlocks from yesterday?"

Bella looked down with gilt shown on her face. I knew that I shouldn't talk about Sparkles, but she needs to get over him. He left her, end of story.

"Alright I'm sorry," Bella spoke up. "But can you please come me somewhere one last time?"

I shrugged my shoulders as I finished my breakfast. "Where?"

"Jacob's."

I sighed heavily as I drank the remaining milk before putting the bowl into the sink. "Lead the way."

Twenty minutes later we arrived at Jake's place.

I looked at Bella who had a nervous look on her face. "We can turn back Bells."

Bella shook her head before getting out of the car and basically ran towards the house. I decided to sit back cause nothing bad was really going on.... until I looked to my right and saw Sam Uley and his gang. I saw a figure leaving the house and immediately realise that Bella left the house and was heading towards the four shirtless men. I quickly got out of the truck and ran towards her, grabbing her quickly as she pushed Sam.

"What did you do to him?!" Bella yelled angrily. Damn girl chill.

"Bella stop," I said trying to pull her away from the gang.

"Irene shut up!" Bella yelled as she snatched her arm away from my hold, which made one of the guys growl. Like an actually animal growl.

I looked at the guy that growled and felt my whole body freeze. It's the same guy that couldn't stop gawking at me!

As Bella kept shouting at Sam and his followers I kept staring at the guy. I had no idea why, but he seemed more attractive than the others, until he looked up from my sister and looked at me causing me to hold in my breath. He smirked before that smirk quickly fell of his face when a fist met his face. Bella.

I looked at my sister in shock as she smirked at the guy, until the guy started shaking and not even a minute later was a huge silver-white wolf in his place. Oh. My. God.

I stood in my place frozen as Bella was the only one that turned and ran for it; however, I soon heard her fall down and then outcome a russet-brown wolf.

The two wolves growled at each other before lounging at each other and took each other down. They snapped and tried to bite each other as they rolled into the woods.

"Take Bella and Irene to Emily," Sam ordered as he went to follow the wolves.

"I guess wolf's out of the bag," I heard a guy say before suddenly feeling being picked up and thrown over his shoulder. I guess I was too shocked to do anything cause soon I was in the backseat with Bella, with the guys driving away from Jake's and towards 'Emily' house.
