Irene POV
It has been over a month since I came back from Europe and Bella was getting slightly better. Probably because I forced her to come with me on fishing trips and hiking. I know she wouldn't admit it, but I could see that it made her feel better than being up in her room all day. I would say that I did a 'job well done' but I am far from finished with helping her.
I was currently in the library catching up on all the work and studies I have missed in five months and my hand was proper aching. If anyone has ever suffered a twenty hour exam than my mind and hands felt like a big mess where nothing made sense anymore.
I rubbed my hands over my eyes, trying to get the tiredness when I heard my phone buzz. I opened it and saw that Bella sent me a texting asking if I wanted to join her and Jessica for tonight at the cinema. A movie with Jessica? No thanks. She'll probably talk my ears out after the movie finishes and won't stop complaining about it.
I wrote a quick 'sorry' and an excuse before turning my phone off and went back to finishing the English homework. I was about halfway finished with the essay when I heard my phone ringing. I looked at the caller and grimaced. "What the fuck does she want?"
I ended the call and completely turned my phone off not wanting to be disturbed before finishing my essay.
Three hours later I finished everything and catched up on everything that was taught. It took me two whole weeks to catch up on everything and I'm actually quite impressed I managed to not lose my mind. I packed everything up in my bags and left the library, only to see that it was getting dark. "Just great."
I made my way over to the other side and started walking in the direction of the bus stop when I spotted Bella and Jessica. "Bells!"
They both turned around and I saw Bella smile when she saw me. I quickly jogged over to them and greeted Bella with a side hug. "Hi girls. How was the movie?"
"Don't even ask," Jessica grumbled. "Seriously, my cousin doesn't even compare to those dudes in the movie. And don't even get me started on what your psychotic sister did."
That picked up my attention, "What did she do?"
"Nothing you should worry about Ri," Bella responded quickly, making me and Jessica give her a glare.
"We left the cinema and were heading towards our cars when we came across some men on motorcycles," Jessica explained. "I have no idea what your sister was thinking but she suddenly went over there, got on a motorcycle with one of them and five minutes later came back. It was like she was possessed or something!"
I looked at Bella with a disapproving look. "You don't say."
That night Bella got an earful from me when we got home causing Dad to find out and go off on Bella. Does she even care about her safety? If she did, she would have stayed away from the Cullen's when I told her but no, she had to fall in love with one and wanted to become one of them.
At least I'm not the stupid one in the family. I wouldn't trade my life for any guy, even if he was immortal or God himself. I would want to live my life and die being me. End of story.
But the story did not end as the next day Bella took me to a junkyard and bought two broken motorcycles.
We were currently in her car driving towards Jake's house. "Does he even know we're coming?"
"Nope," Bella replied popping the 'p'. "Besides I want to surprise him. We haven't seen him since you came back."
I coughed. "Correction, you haven't seen him since I came back. Me and Jake are actually quite close for your information."
