CHAPTER - 9

Today is the day I'm marrying a monster. There's no wedding ceremony and I'm thankful for that. we just have to sign on the marriage document and then I'll be his wife.

After the night at the club Daniel haven't asked to Meet me again.

Yesterday I gathered my courage and went to father's office told him what happened at the dinner hoping he will break the marriage.

After hearing all he said was "stop whining like child Ava, for once behave like a grown up and stop embarrassing me. Do did know how much money we'll loose if I break this contract. You were always good for nothing at least this marriage is bringing some money. So stop whining and be a responsible daughter for once." He said with venom in his voice.

Tears sting my eyes from hearing that my father sold his daughter for money. Just how deep does his hate run for me.

All of my belongings have been packed as the time passes more fear starts to kick in.

I quickly changed into a simple outfit, wore a black wide leg jeans and a baby pink top paired with my white sneakers.

A bit of makeup to hide bruises on my cheek and neck and my hair tied into ponitail

The maid came to inform me that my father is expecting me in his office.

That's it this is really happening, my life is being handed over to a monster and there is nothing I can do.

I slowly went downstairs and stood in front of my father's office. I took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

"Come in" his voice came through. I opened the door and stepped in.

I kept my eyes not the ground the whole time not wanting to look at the monster who will take me away in few minutes.

"Ava, sign this document" my father order shoving the pen in my hand. The pen feels heavy in my hand I don't want to sign it tears threatening to fall down but I pushed them back.

Wanting to give one last try I said "Father, please I don't want to get marri- " before I could complete the sentence his hand connected my face and i went a few steps back staggering losing my balance.

When I regained my footing and looked up i watched my father with horror. He's pinned to the wall by a strong hand squeezing his throat and a gun shoved into his mouth.

My father's face goes pale and legs barely touch the ground.

When I looked at the other person my eyes went wide, he's not Daniel. This... this person.. I know him, he is the guy from the airport whom i Bumped into accidently.

W-Why ? Why is he here ?  there's another person in the room, he was also there at the airport the other day.

I turn my eyes back on the stranger holding my father and he says "If you dare touch her or do any harm to her I'll snap your head. Do you understand, Davis ?" his voice deadly.

My father finally managed to nod his head and the stranger realised him and took a step back.

My father gasps for air, glared at the stranger with eyes full of hate.

Oh my god I thought Daniel was a monster but this man he's even more dangerous.

When he threatened my father to kill him he was not lying, he'll really kill him without any hesitation I can see that in his eyes.
