CHAPTER - 12

I took a look at the bedroom around me, a room full of expensive and luxurious things.

I walked into the walk in closet and my jaw dropped this is next level crazy rich. The closet is as big as a bedroom, Money is dripping every corner.

His suits are all dark colours neatly arranged I run my fingers on the expensive fabric it's soft.

There are so many watches , shoes and what not. You name it and it's there.

Everything is of top brand, compared to his my belongings are nothing.

He told me to make half place for myself so I arranged his clothes on one side and started unpacking my bags.

I don't have many things to unpack so it didn't take longer. Once I finish I garbed a black legging and oversized brown sweatshirt and went to wash up.

The bathroom is half the size of bedroom. Gosh everything here is big and spacious I guess.

I filled the bath tub with hot water, undressed and stepped into it.

I groan from how good and relaxing it feels so I took my sweet little time.

Ruth Ashton....his name suits him Ruth...like Ruthless which he is. And now I'm his wife Ava Ashton.

How can someone be so dangerous and handsome at the same time!

He allowed me to continue my college and till now he haven't done anything that could hurt me. He is strong but also he showed gentle behaviour towards me.

Ahhhh... I don't understand him at all.

He said he'll be back for dinner and it's almost time so i should probably step out and get ready.

When I looked myself in the mirror i gasp. The angry marks on my face and neck looks so ugly.

I turned and the belt wounds on my back is as red as they wear yesterday soon they will also turn ugly greenish black.

If i hide the marks on my face and neck with makeup Ruth will be suspicious. I mean who wears makeup just to stay in the house.

And I don't need to worry about the mark on my face because he saw when my father backhanded me.

I also realised that Ruth is very observant so I need to be careful.

I quickly put on my clothes, dried my hair and went to the kitchen.

I hear the elevator ding, Ruth is back and I'm nervous about tonight.

The door opened and I am bombarded with a voice that spoke with full of excitement.

"Hellooooo Avaaaa.... My dear sister-in-law" He is the same man that was with Ruth today morning and back at the airport too.

I stood there awkwardly not knowing what to do. Ruth was behind him "You are scaring her, idiot" he snapped at him and walked towards me.

Ruth eyes land on me and his face goes angry, and i started to fear, he's eyes roam on my face and neck and he shakes his head with disapproval.
