Ch. 23 Can't we be together?

"We will start the recording process from tomorrow then, see you soon Mr. Kim"
He said getting up turning to leave. I was going to follow him too but stopped when Mr. Kim called me

"You must be free right now"
He asked sitting on his chair

"Ye. Aniyo!"
I messed up

"I mean, I have extra vocal practice right now, see you later Mr. Kim"
I explained and hurried out of the cabin after bowing him. I was looking if he was still there and found him standing in the corridor

"Ya Lee Suho"
I said standing few steps away from him

"You're here? I thought you forgot me"
He said with a smile

"When did you arrive? Has your father recovered?"
I asked taking a sip of my sweet affogato as we came to a café to talk

"He still hasn't fully recovered, he still needs some rest. Seojun's debut is coming and Move entertainment is planning another huge project so we came back yesterday."
He replied looking outside through the transparent door

"Oh. keundae, why did you come to Big Star entertainment today and what was the song you gave Mr. Kim"

"I am managing things along with Director Oh for now and I think this would be the perfect time to release Seyeon's memorial album. I heard about you not being the original voice behind that member of a girl group and even if you will have a huge debut because of previous fan following, that thing may affect your image"

"So are you telling me to sing it instead of Seyeon? The song has already been leaked twice and it originally is from Seyeon's memorial album, wouldn't it make my image more controversial if I sing it?"

"Even if it was me who wrote the melody and Seyeon who sung it, do you think I don't know about you being the lyricist? Even if credits weren't given to you by Move entertainment cause you asked Seyeon not to tell them, I have the original work where credits were given to you, you can sing it without any controversial issues"

"Still I'm just a lyricist, you wrote the melody and Seyeon sung it, even if I sing it giving the credits to you or saying Seyeon and I are siblings, I will get the fame which Seyeon deserved, I can't let it happen"

"You know what Seyeon told me? He told me that he wanted to see you as an idol too, he told me that he wanted to collaborate with you. No one will care if the song is released under Seyeon's name because it's already been three years, you will get big stage, many fans and no controversial image if you sing it. If not for these things then at least do it as Seyeon's last wish"

He said trying to convince me. I thought for a while before replying, and I know just what to say

"Okay, I'll do it"
I agreed

Finally I was free today after two days of recording process and tight schedule.

"Three dates, give me a chance to go on three dates with you and I will prove my love"
That voice ringed in my ear several times as today was the day Seojun asked me to go on first date with him. I'm not sure what I am doing, I planned to forget the past and move on with my career but something is stopping me

I found him waiting for me near the ice rink where he told me to meet him. He wanted to come to pick me up but I refused because of the company's dating restrictions

"Ice skating, a game where fall and get up together"
Seojun told while helping me wear the stakes. I didn't expect him to know all this romantic couple stuff but I was glad he was doing it for me
