Ch. 22 Three Dates

Seojun's pov

After the meet up with old highschool friends I took responsibility of taking this drunken Jugyeong her home. After coming outside, I looked around for a taxi and made Jugyeong sit inside

I was going to sit too but stopped when I heard someone saying my name in a low voice, almost inaudible, but my ears were keen enough to hear that familiar voice. I turned around to see if it was really her and saw-

Soobin's pov

"Han Seojun!?"
Those words just slipped out of my lips after these many days. My hands become sweaty and went loose due to which the canned latte from my hand slipped creating a sound on the ground beneath me

A tear escaped my eye as a storm of mixed feelings went on inside me. Love, hate, anger, sadness, I didn't know what it was when I saw him with her, Lim Jugyeong, the love of his life. I don't know what is happening to me but it was as if the time has stopped and my body couldn't move

All of this suddenly came to an end and I came back to reality when he was about to turn around. But before he could, I turned around the other direction and walked straight back to the Big Star entertainment's building

Seojun's pov

I turned around to see if it was really her and saw no one

Have I started to hear things now?
I thought as I sat beside Jugyeong to drop her home.

I don't know if it was a hallucination but I did heard her voice. It has been two years and I still can't contact her. Back then, articles were released about her that she wasn't the actual voice behind Sarang of TEAM1 and their was an official apology by her mother too.

That did cleared her name but all of us lost contact with her. Neither was she seen by any of us, nor was there any news about her.I thought she must have went back to China with her mother because she needed some time.

"If you find someone good at something or like them because of their looks or personality, it's just a crush that will last for a few months but if you like someone so much that you can even bet your life on them, then that's called love which will last even after ones death"

I remember these words of her but it took me so long to understand that the closeness that I felt for Jugyeong was just because she was nice to me and helped Gowoon as well, but the closeness that I felt towards Soobin was different, it was love. But I don't even know if I can meet her again and if she feels for me the same

I stayed at Jugyeong's place yesterday and today had breakfast there as well but I had to leave early because of the practice schedule

I was free in the evening so I came outside to take some fresh air. While I was taking a walk, I heard someone singing Deja Vu and the voice was undoubtedly familiar. I went ahead and saw that it was a street performance but I couldn't see who it was due to the crowd

"So now, I'm holding this pain
모든 걸 버린 그대처럼
매일 더 선명해져

Like the day I abandoned everything

That line struck me and I knew it was none other than her, Jeong Soobin. The performance was over and she was about to go

I loved watching street performances and one of the singers noticed that too, he requested if I could sing for them and surprisingly, many people came to hear it.
