A 13 Year Old Girl

I was told when I grow up that I'd feel certain ways
I was told I'd feel way I never have before
And when I feel them to tell someone
A 13 Year old girl
She's scared
She's lost
She's having the feelings people told her about
But nobody told her about the other feelings
The feeling of being wounded and healed over and over again
The feeling of all of her origins being on fire
She can feel them melting
The hot stringy bloody mess
Filling her up like she's a cup of tea
The feeling that she's not real
That she's only paying a video game that just so happenes to have her school
Her mom
Her friends
Her home
Her boyfriend
Her name
Her looks
Her voice
Her life
But it's not like her life
A 13 year old girl with a long term relationship
A layed back mom
Two cats
And all of the makeup, clothes, decorations she can ever want
She shouldn'tbe this way
She shouldn't be in therapy
She shouldn't cry every night
She shouldn't be in therapy
She shouldn't get high every night
She shouldn't have "mental illness"
She shouldn;t have an "Eating disorder"
She shouldn't read or write while listening to music to escape reality
She should want to be LIVING in her reality
Not hiding from it
A 13 Year old girl
She's broken and scared
She let's it show
Why?
Not even she knows.
