Elena was worried sick, she had visited almost all the shops that allowed high schoolers to work part time but she still couldn't find Ethan.

They all said they haven't seen him or they simply didn't even know who he is and when she went ahead to describe him, they said they haven't seen anyone like that.

It's already 10:30 pm right now. She left the house after making sure her mom was sleeping, which was over two hours ago.

She decided to actually go to the police station and report a missing person.

She got there panting heavily and spoke about her missing brother but she was ignored and sent away instead.

Why? Because they said she's being unreasonable and it's not been 24 hours since he went missing.

One of the police men even went ahead to touch her inappropriately and said she's sexy while another one told her her little brother must be somewhere whoring around or probably doing something illegal.

She left after cursing angrily at them and yelling about how her brother would never do something like that.

"Ethan, where are you please, please be safe little brother" she put her hands together in a form of prayer.

"Miss Elena" she heard someone yell and she quickly turned around to see who it was.

"Oh, Becky" she forced a smile. Wondering who Becky is ? She's a classmate of Ethan and also the little sister for someone Elena knew.

"What are you doing here? You seem worried" Becky asked and Elena sighed.

"Was Ethan in school today?" She asked and Becky's mood suddenly dropped and she became sad.

"Yes…" she replied "did he leave early or late?" Elena seems to have found a new hope and asked hurriedly .

"I don't know, he was beaten pretty badly today, I went to school really late and met the hallway all tattered so I asked what had happened, i was told Bianca went to find him and Ricky beat him up really badly he passed out, when I asked where Ethan was, someone told me he was taken away probably to the hospital so I was less worried, why are you looking for him tho?" Becky asked.

"Who took him? Could he probably still be at the hospital? Ethan isn't home yet and no hospital called to report as well, do you asked which hospital he was taken to ?" She asked impatiently.

"No, but my brother is around here, he can help to quickly find out which hospital he was sent to" said Becky after realizing the grave of the situation.

She quickly brought out her phone and called her brother who came up to them in a few minutes.

Elena knew Becky's brother because the man had been pursuing her, he seems really serious about being in a relationship with her but she's absolutely against that idea for whatever reason she has.

"I should get a call soon, I've already told someone to investigate immediately" he said the moment he got to them.

Elena couldn't stop thanking him but her face shows how worried and scared she was for her little brother that she even refused to sit down and wait for the call.

She was pacing up and down the same place as if it's going to make the call sooner.

"Accept this sacrifice and bestow upon us the best of powers and immortality" the chanting was getting into Ethan's head.

He's dying slowly and he knows it, the whole chanting for the past one hour or so was getting to him.

His body doesn't feel like it's own anymore, he feels like he's dead but still alive simply because of the chants that couldn't seem to stop sipping right into his skull.
