A week passes in a blink of an eye, it's like a dream for Becky as the portal opens and she looks at Elena who seems really sad to part with them.

Her eyes were fixed on Bryan but none of them said a word to each other.

Elena had packed in four days ago with her mom and they had been living here since then.

Her dad had been setting up barriers just in case things get out of hand, he won't let his son lose his mate because of a stupid war.

"Thanks for having us stay here, please be careful at the other side" Elena's mom said with a shaky voice.

The poor woman still hasn't come to terms with her son's death so she has not been really good these days.

They smiled at each other for the last time and were about to enter the portal when the space suddenly shook and the air tore open with someone coming out of it .

"That was a solid barrier angel, I almost forgot you, light beings are freaks at that" the person who came out of the open space said casually.

"Ethan?" Becky had unconsciously called out in shock and Elena and her mom quickly looked at him.

His eyes are now purple, his hair had turned from their natural black to silver and red and his eyes were devilishly sharp and cold.

"Ethan.." his mom called out with a shaky breath. For a sec, they all saw his expression soften before it went back to its usual coldness.

He didn't say a thing and walked up to Becky and slightly bent his back to loom over her slightly.

"Go ahead, I want to speak with this one" he glanced at Bryan and the rest.

"What do you mean by that?" Bryan's dad was annoyed but he didn't want to make any move, someone who could tear through space even within his barrier must be exceptionally strong .

"You should really watch your tone when you speak to me Bernard" his expression was hardened.

"I won't hurt your daughter and I will bring her right back to you all after I'm gone speaking to her" he said.

After a few more arguments and a blatant threat from Ethan and a few promises, Becky's mom glared at Ethan not willing to leave her daughter to her but she couldn't do anything.

They all entered the portal and it closed right behind them after that while Becky glanced at Elena and her mom before she was practically dragged away by Ethan.

They walked back to Becky's room and Ethan suddenly pinned her against the wall.

"What did you do my other soul, he won't stop thinking about you, he refused to merge back with me because of you, you are a distraction to him" he growled angrily.

"What's wrong with thinking about someone you like?" She glared at him angrily.

She was mad, she couldn't be mad at this new Ethan though but she's still mad.

He had come out of nowhere and taken away her friend, they were really good to each other and like Bryan loved Elena, she also loved him.

Heck, she had thought when she finally turned twenty, maybe Ethan would be her mate and it would be exactly like Bryan.

He had been attracted to Elena before he turned twenty and the moment he did, he realized they were mates.

But, this one just had to come and crash it all, she loved Ethan and had done everything possible for the boy to reciprocate the feelings but she had only managed to get the boy to like her and then this one came and ruined it.

Ethan's gaze chilled and he suddenly kissed her, catching her off guard.

As much as she would have been happy to be kissed by Ethan, she knew this one was not him.

But how strong can she possibly be compared to this monster, she couldn't even push him away.

He bit down on her lips and caused her to gasp and he took that as an opportunity to explore her mouth further.

She tried hitting him, punching him or anything just to get him to stop but nothing worked.

The kiss was not enough for Ethan, his other soul protested against touching her like that but he couldn't stop now.

He's angry and more importantly, they are one soul, how dare this girl cause them to act against each other?

More to his anger, he also found himself actually liking how he touches her, he shouldn't be feeling those emotions but because of this girl, he is. He's beyond mad.

He picked her up by her waist and the girl unconsciously wrapped her legs around him to avoid falling down.

The next thing she knew, they were on her bed, Ethan all over her lips, his hands roaming and touching her body.

She hates it, she doesn't want it but why is it so good? Why is her body reacting to it when her mind is rejecting it?

She simply wanted to cry, she liked Ethan, heck, she loved him but he is not Ethan but she reacted so eagerly to his touches, damn she was even enjoying it.

Ethan suddenly went to her neck and the sudden sensation sent her off, she loudly moaned in pleasure to the stimulation and burst into tears.

Did she just moan loudly to the touch of someone who's basically about to take her without her consent?

But it's as if something suddenly snapped inside Ethan, he jerked back and when Becky opened her eyes to look, the eyes staring down at her now were brown with a little hint of blood red in them instead of the cold purple ones.

Ethan immediately got off her and it took her a few seconds to completely register what was going on.

But whatever it was, this is definitely not that  Ethan, this.. this is the real Ethan.

His eyes held so much emotions, sadness, guilt, anger, and fondness with barely noticeable lust.

Becky wanted nothing but to jump off the bed and hug him and that's exactly what she did. She rushed to hug him and cried out.

"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry, I should have tried to ask around about you, you won't be like this now" she was crying.

"Silly, how's this your fault? I should be saying sorry, I almost forced myself on you and all you care about is apologizing for what you didn't do?" He hugged her tightly.

"No, i know that's not you Ethan" she said "you are wrong, he's just acting upon my strange emotions and we are the same person, don't always find excuses for me, I'm wrong this time" he said .

Becky was about to reply but then Ethan suddenly released her and moved back and then he groaned and the next moment his eyes were purple again.

Becky's heart skipped a bit since she knew exactly what this meant.

But contrary to her expectations, Ethan suddenly made a hand gesture and the space tore up and formed a portal.

"Go on, they are waiting at the other side" he said coldly and becky nodded.

She straightened out her roughed up dress and glanced at him one last time before walking into the portal.
