chapter seven

Zions shuttle exited hyperspace into the Jaguada system where be saw the orange ball of a planet jaguada a place he never would have returned to if he could help it as it was the location of the training center he and maul had been trained at the world wasn't part of any trade routes nor was it on anyone's radar the confederacy ignored it as did the republic and the empire no one cared about this planet as it held no value except to the sith for grooming potential agents to do their bidding as far as zion knew he and maul were the only two to escape the hell that was the academy.
He brought the shuttle into the planets atmosphere cutting through the clouds like a blade through butter he saw the academy looming on a mountain top it was the only artificial structure on the planet he brought his ship in for a landing lowering the boarding ramp and got out of the pilot seat.
He took a moment to collect himself he figured it was fitting that this would be where it all ended as it was his beginning.
He walked out of the ship and was greeted by the headmaster of the academy junsi treger a human male who had gotten older over the years what was once an imposing figure that haunted zions nightmares was now an old man who had graying brown hair cut short with gold and silver teeth and had square glasses over his eyes he still had the same evil grin that still got under zions skin he wore a white cloak over a green shirt and black pants he had lost the muscles and fit physique he had in his younger years now he was skinny and had age spots on his arms and right below his left eye which was milky blue while the other was brown and full of sadistic insanity that the man was known for.
"Hello 28 it's been too long how are you my son?" Treger asked. "I'm not your son. I am here to meet with sidious." Zion said. "Now that's not how we raised you didn't we drill it into your mind as a child I quite recall our sessions together where I quite literally beat it into your skull that you address him as master or at the very least lord sidious." Treger said. "A slip of the tongue I have had a long couple of cycles." Zion said. "Understandable lord sidious informed me he had you put down your hunters so soon after putting dear old 31 to rest as well must have been hard for you." Treger said leading zion deeper into the facility they arrived in the main hall which was a large open room of stone and barely lit by the hand full of lights in the cieling fixtures. He sensed several people in the room all of them walked out wearing white shirts and black pants most were humans but they all had the same look in their eyes one of emptiness the lack of emotion and just a cold resolve to complete any task they were given each of them had a lightsaber clipped to their belts  there over forty of them in the room as treger walked into the room with a confident and arrogant grin his smugness was palable in the force.
"Sorry 28 but lord sidious called and told me of your recent behavior and the fact well quite honestly your plan to assassinate him." Treger said. "Is he even coming?" Zion demanded. "Oh yes he's on his way right now but I'm afraid you'll be far too dead to care when he arrives." Treger said. "You think you can kill me?" Zion asked. "Me? No there would be no chance of that I'm afraid age hasn't been too kind to me over the years but them those who desired to have your role or mauls roll they are more than up to the task you see while you have been a useful attack dog for the emperor these men have trained and honed their skills with nearly droid level of persistence and have become masters with a blade in their own right plus each of them are powerful in the force though mentally they have lost all ambition and since of self losing all trace of individuality honestly they are what the clone army was suppose to be!" Treger laughed zion saw each of them ignite white bladed lightsabers zion ignited his own sabers and perapred himself for a battle. "One through ten kill twenty-eight but be sure to leave a corpse for the emperor!" Treger ordered. The ten warriors charged at him six humans two twe'leks and two zaberaks.
Zion charged into the group letting the force drive him boosting all his senses flooding his body making him faster he cut down the first two humans taking the right leg off of the third human he cut off the head tentacles of the first twe'lek making him scream out in agony and walk around slashing wildly he was killed by the third human who seemed unbothered by the loss of his leg as he simply hopped on one foot.
Zion cut the remaining warriors down before dodging a slash by the one legged man zion slashed off the man's right arm before slashing off the man's head.
"Impressive twenty-eight you lost duels in the past to three of those men when you were a child." Treger said.
"I'm going to kill you treger something I should have done before leaving this place the first time!" Zion yelled. "Such hostility where is your gratitude sidious may have brought you here but I am the one who handled your training your education kept you sheltered and ensured your life would have meaning." Treger said. "You don't care about anyone here you monster you throw these men to their death and enjoy it!" Zion yelled. "And you sound like a jedi one mind meld with one and you buy a membership to their cult. Unlike you these men are grateful they happily sacrifice their lives for my sake I am the one that gives them meaning and a purpose and don't act like you were betrayed because you reached for a table you had no seat on no one here was meant to be a sith sidious chose maul and trained him to find the jedi chosen one he did that when he encountered the jedi on tatooine his role concluded by killing the one master that threatened his plans forcing an unprepared obi-Wan to handle anikans training in the jedi while driving dooku to the dark side over the death of his former student dookus role was to play the villian for the clone wars a war where sidious would mold anikan into the sith he would one day become while ensuring sidious's rise to power and was disposed of once his task was complete. Everything went to plan sidious got vader just how he wanted him a powerful imposing figure who could never challenge him. If you had behaved yourself we could have avoided this nasty business but here we are all because you somehow became an entitled brat!" Treger yelled. "Shut up!" Zion yelled charging at treger only for the remaining thirty men to get between him and treger all with blades ignited zion unleashed a blast from the force plowing through the crowd only for all of them to unleash their own force blast that combined overpowered his own and sent him flying backward he hit the ground hard rolling to a crouch breathing heavily as the men reformed their protective formation.
Zey station
Kalan and the new jedi council met in the main briefing room. "We need to find a safe place to go ruusan is compromised and it's only a matter of time before the empire stumbles onto any of our safe houses." Zelan said. "What about our connections with the hidden path they can help move our people discretely." Lyrad said. "We need to leave." Kalan said getting everyone's attention. "Thats what we are talking about." Lyrad said. "No I don't mean move somewhere and hide in the empires territory Hutt space is out as well we need to leave known space." Kalan said. "How would we fight the sith if we aren't here to do that?" Jana asked. "We don't." Kalan said. "You want to leave the galaxy to the mercy of the empire to the sith?" Lyrad asked. "There are worlds that would be willing to fight a resistance is inevitable." Zelan said. "They would stand a better chance with us backing them." Leon stated. "No." Kalan said netting his fingers together even he didn't believe this was the course he had decided on. "When the jedi defeated the sith in the last great war they believed them to be extinct and the sith used that to their advantage and through centuries of plotting and preparation brought the entire galaxy under their control and eliminated the jedi order. The jedi are seen as traitors from the narrative the emperor made but he wasn't completely wrong the old order went against their own beliefs and never questioned where that would lead them. We are keepers of the peace not soldiers and we had no business in that war we could have gotten dooku grievous and possibly even sidious if the jedi had taken a step back and not spearheaded the war." Kalan said. Chad was surprised to hear his own arguments being used in a discussion of the future of the order. "You keep saying old order?" Zelan noted. "We are not the same jedi order that was destroyed by the clones we are the start of a new jedi order and we as the new jedi order we need to step away from the empire. Vader is ruthless and cruel tarkin is a fool who believes in nothing but might makes right and sidious is a sadistic and manipulative monster and is already losing his grip on the galaxy. Like you said resistance is inevitable no matter how powerful the two sith are if the galaxy rebels their regime won't last and when it collapses they will either flee or be destroyed. That happens with the jedi order out of the picture. We wait we rebuild and when the time is right we can come back but for now we leave." Kalan said. "Where to?" Lyrad asked. "Wild space its not patrolled by the empire." Dez said. "Too many pirates and low life's out there we would get reported and the empire would be right back on our tail." Chad said. "The unknown regions." Kalan said. "The unknown region?" Dez asked as if she hadn't heard him right. "We go into the unknown regions and we find a suitable planet and rebuild there." Kalan said.
The room was quiet for a long moment as everyone took in what kalan was saying everyone in the room had connections they would be cutting forever if they agreed to this plan. "I find it to be the best plan we have." ciati stated. Zelen nodded. Lyrad also nodded Dez nodded. Chad nodded as well. "Its settled contact every jedi safe house inform them we will be leaving known space as soon as a suitable world is found." Kalan ordered.
When the meeting was concluded ty and jasmine entered the chamber seeing Dez lyrad and zelan with the other masters who all put on their brown cloaks which none of them had worn since going into hiding they all ignited their lightsabers holding them in front of them the blade pointing directly up. "Jedi padawans ty kalos jasmine kaldur if you would kneel." Kalan said. Ty couldn't believe what was happening as he and jasmine took a knee in front of kalan who approached them. "By the power of the jedi high council." Kalan said as he hovered his blade over tys left shoulder moving it to his right shoulder then over his head. "And the will of the force." Kalan said repeating the motions to jasmine. "I hereby declare you both jedi knights." Kalan declared extinguishing his lightsaber. "Rise jedi knights Kalo kaldur." Kalan stated. They stood proudly a tear coming to jasmines eyes. "I wish my master could be here." Jasmine said remembering the death of her master the night the clones had turned on them. "He is jasmine death is not truly the end but the beginning as they and the force are with you with all of us." Kalan said. Dez looked at him with a look of relief she had worried about kalan for over a year as he struggled with his own losses but he finally seemed to be at peace she didn't sense any malice in his heart as she had before his encounter with vader and after the encounter she had sensed humiliation depression and guilt as if he had failed an important task but when he had returned from illum he radiated in the force a calm collected resolve no longer held down by the darkness in his heart she hadn't asked what he experienced in the search for a new lightsaber crystal she figured it would have been a fairly personal experience.
The council left the room leaving Dez and kalan alone. "So what made you come up with that plan?" Dez asked. "Ty and jasmine have done more than enough to earn the right to be jedi knights." Kalan said. "Yeah that's not what I was talking about and you know it."  Dez said. Kalan let out a breath as if he had hoped she wouldn't press the subject. "It made since its the best chance for the order to survive if we keep going as we are then the empire will pick us off and eventually we will be destroyed." Kalan said. "Not if we help the systems that want to fight the empire." Dez said. Kalan shook his head and looked at her with a curious look. "If you don't believe it's the right plan why did you agree?" Kalan asked. "I didn't say it wasn't the right play kal but the right play made for the wrong reasons could still turn out wrong and months ago you wanted to rebuild the order and stop the sith now its abandon the whole galaxy all together its a one eighty on how you were." Dez said.
Kalan looked out the viewport looking out at the stars and remembering how he and anikan had once looked at those stars and wanted to explore them it was shortly after anikan had joined the jedi order after the death of master qui-gon genn.
"I have had a force vision reoccur since the orders destruction.... the force trying to tell me something but I wasn't ready to hear it refused to see it because I was blinded by my hate by my anger and I was warned every step of the way.... zey the other masters mira.... they suffered because of that if I had been able to heed the warnings and see the signs that I over looked we wouldn't have lost what masters we had. Mira would be here with us and I wouldn't be a hand down and would have fewer scars." Kalan said his voice cracking slightly. "That doesn't explain why you want to leave it all behind?" Dez said. "The old order was broken even before the war that was just when the cracks began to show. We took a slave army to fight droids we became soldiers instead of being keepers of the peace and the entire time the sith were the ones giving the jedi orders directing us to our own destruction the order wasn't destroyed by the sith we did it to ourselves if we questioned the creation of the clones we would have uncovered that the sith had ordered its creation. If we had stayed out of the war sidious wouldn't have been able to direct both sides without someone noticing. Sidious's plan worked because the jedi stopped acting like jedi. Encouraging systems to fight against the empire wouldn't be keeping the peace it wouldn't be fighting the sith it would help Sidious's narrative. We must let go of what the order became and restart fresh we can't do that here. We can't do that in the outer rim we can't do that in wildspace. We leave it all behind so that the new jedi order can live." Kalan said. Dez nodded and she walked over to him taking his hand into her own. "There is one thing I am kinda grateful to sidious for." Dez said. Kalan raised a brow in confusion. "If he didn't start a war we never would have met and I wouldn't have the love of my life." Dez said kissing kalan who returned the kiss. "Hes still not invited to the wedding." Kalan said.
The door to the council chamber opened and kalan sensed a presence he hadn't sensed in a long time he looked to the new comer and saw ahsoka tano anikans former student. He looked at her in surprise.
"I didn't know you were alive." Kalan said. "Yeah its been questionable since mandalore... I didn't know so many jedi survived..." ahsoka said. "Yeah we have been trying to keep a low profile and many weren't jedi before order sixty six." Kalan said. "Is anikan alive did he make it?" Ahsoka asked. Dez had a troubled look on her face as she looked away as kalan inhaled sharply and let it out. "No sadly anikan skywalker was killed shortly before the clones stormed the temple." Kalan said. Ahsokas eyes widened in shock and grief as tears ran down her face. "He was tricked by darth sidious palpatine.... and was murdered by sidious's new apprentice darth vader." Kalan said his voice cracking and he barely keeping his composure.
She shook her head and fell to her knees as she tried to contain her sadness. "Hes gone?" Ahsoka sobbed. "He and many others." Kalan said. Ahsoka covered her mouth in shock. "What about obi-wan senator amidala master yoda?" Ahsoka asked almost afraid to hear the answer. "Obi-wan and yoda are both missing but padme amidala was killed by vader." Kalan said.
Ahsoka broken down in tears Dez went over to consol her. "Whats our plan what are we going to do against the sith?" Ahsoka demanded her anger clear in her tone.
"I'm sorry ahsoka but the order isn't in a position to do anything about the sith right now. We are leaving for the unknown regions to rebuild the order and we will return when the time is right." Kalan said. Ahsoka looked as if she couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Your running?" She asked. "If that is how you see it right now it's the best play we have." Kalan said. "Storm the kriffing imperial palace destroy darth sidious for what he's done and bring darth vader to justice there are over a hundred jedi in this base alone that's more than enough!" Ahsoka yelled getting to her feet her emotions out of control. "Masters windu kit fisto plo koon all tried that and they were all killed master yoda faced sidious and was unable to defeat him vader slaughtered hundreds of jedi some of the orders best fighters my friends and sister included. We don't have the strength to bring them down yet and they have an entire galactic navy backing them with a galaxy that fears the jedi order. Fighting isn't the best move right now." Kalan said. Ahsoka shook her head and looked at him as if she didn't know him. "If your gonna leave the galaxy to the sith then your not jedi to me." Ahsoka said. "That is your choice." Kalan said. Ahsoka turned and stormed out of the room and kalan let out a breath his hands clenched he relaxed them.
"We need to get ready to move the order ensure every jedi as hyperdrive capable ship for the exodus. Also I need volunteers." Kalan said. Des looked at him confused. "For what?" She asked. "The sith will never believe the jedi survivors just disappeared and they don't know our true numbers so some of us will have to make a stand and die so the rest can escape." Kalan said walking out of the chamber.
Jaguada
Zion cut down another man before kicking a second in the face sending him flying backward but he was slowing fatigue was starting to wear him down his arms and legs seemed to get heavier and moving was becoming difficult but the men that treger commanded acted as if they never got tired as they moved as fast and nimble as ever. He clashed blades with back stepping at the last moment to avoid being run through by another while still recieving a shallow cut across his chest which made him grit his teeth but he turned that pain to power and unleashed blue bolts of lightning that reduced the pair of warriors to smoldering bodies.
He fell to one knee his breathing heavy and sweat drenched his face soaking his cloths making his tunic cling to his skin and sweat burned his wounds the pain being all that brought new life to his exhausted body as he glared at treger.
"Not bad 28 I am truly impressed honestly you did have so much potential too bad sidious never intended on passing his mantle to a successor." Treger stated he snapped his fingers recalling all the surviving men to him in a perfect circle.
"Do you know why these men never learned to use the dark side or light side of the force?" Treger asked. "I don't care." Zion said getting to his feet. "Its because the dark side ravages the body and makes the force more violent and slightly unstable it brings out the destructive side of the force but those who use the dark side of the force have difficulty using light side abilities such as healing among other techniques now the opposite is true for a light side user they find it difficult to use offensive powers of the force such as lightning. Now there are exceptions to these rules darth revan was able to use all aspects of the force but only after he had been both jedi and sith. Another example would be the ancient jeedai order who used both sides of the force not seeing a dark or light side they worked to maintain the balance in one self. "I myself have studied all aspects of the force and i have learned an long forgotten force power one created by a sith could have potentially have been stronger than sidious himself." Treger explained.
Zion watched as all the surviving men were destroyed as their bodies and minds were converted into pure force energy that hovered over treger in a white orb that was the size of a land speeder. "This is what true pure force energy looks like this is everything those men could ever be right down to their very essence now in this state its relatively harmless if not imposing to look at but it's just pure power with no direction or form that's where I come in as I shaped those men's lives I can give their power and essences shape and therefore purpose and I think I will send it all right at you." Treger said. "You bastard what you've done is... beyond abominable!" Zion yelled. Treger grinned amused. "Amazing how much like a jedi you sound but goodbye 28 I think I will leave whatever imprint you leave on the walls or floor so I can remember your final moments fondly." Treger laughed before sending the collective of raw force energy at zion who dropped his lightsabers knowing he couldn't dodge the attack and blocking it was most likely not possible but what he recalled from tregers explanation gave him an idea a force technique that was his only chance to survive the attack and even that would be pushing it.
He let out a breath and cleared his mind as he outstretched his hands. (There is no ignorance, there is knowledge. There is no passion, there is serenity. There is no chaos, there is harmony. There is no death, there is the force.) He heard mira recite the code in his head as the blast engulfed him and he took it all letting the force enter his body letting it flood into him storing it all filling every cell in his body every part of his being he heard the screams of agony of the men treger had sacrificed felt their betrayal their pain their sorrow their confusion and he let his resolve his memories flow in with theirs and when he opened his eyes the dimly lit room was brightly lit and treger was looking at him confused and baffled by what he was seeing as storm troopers flooded into the room all aiming blasters at him and as he had taken all the power into himself he let it out he let all out in every direction in one powerful explosion that atomized all the stormtroopers treger the academy his shuttle and even the star destroyer in low orbit all of it was completely erased and his mind was quiet as he collapsed to the barren field that was left in the academies place.
Zion couldn't move he couldn't feel his body all sound of the world went silent and his vision slowly faded away as zions mind went quiet and all that remained was silence.
Sidious approached the seemingly lifeless body of zion sensing the weakest of embers of life in the young man if left as he was he would certainly die but seeing the feat the young force user performed it would be a waste to let him die when he still could be of use. "Get a medical kit right away." Sidious ordered his troops. Zion was put on a medical stretcher injected with a dose of kolto to help the healing process sidious grinned as he wasn't finished with the young force sensitive after all.
Zey station.
Kalan looked at the hangar as the last jedi starfighter left the station which was practically empty besides him and dez who were going to ensure that no traces of the jedi order remained on the station he truly was grateful to bale organa for giving the station and kalan hoped the man would understand when he blew the station apart.
After a thorough sweep of the base kalan joined and HK-47 which had been put on monitoring duty since their arrival at the station. Dez in the station ready to initiate the self destruct sequence of the base only for sensors to alert them of a ship exiting hyperspace. "Statement: master that ship is of imperial design and matches that used by the inquistors. Request: master may I destroy it our station turbo lasers should make quick work of the vessel." Hk stated. "No keep our power readings low hopefully it's just a fly through and will go to hyperspace soon." Kalan stated.
The fighter turned toward the station firing a volley of green laser fire destroying the stations turbo lasers. "Regrettable statement: master I believe that we no longer have the option of shooting it down." Hk stated. "Noted we need to finish this quickly and get out of here." Kalan stated. "Statement: master the imperial ship as entered the hangar bay I suspect their intentions are hostile." Hk stated.
Kalan walked toward the door of the room sensing the dark presence of the inquistor he only detected one which he could handle. "Finish setting the self destruct I will deal with the inquistor." Kalan stated. "Statement: master I must insist you allow me to use my secret unaliving protocols to help deal with the this threat." Hk stated. "No stay with Dez." Kalan ordered.
He left the control room going to meet the inquistor they were once jedi and it wasn't impossible for them to be that again.
He met the inquistor at the turbo lift where a slender black suited figure wearing a helmet similar to vaders walked out this inquistor didn't use the standard circular lightsaber the others seemed to favor instead it looked more standard but he noticed several metal tassels wrapped around the inquistors waist connected to a specialized attachment for the lightsaber which told kalan this wasnt an ordinary inquistor and that wasnt a standard lightsaber instead it was a lightwhip which was an extremely rare offshoot of the lightsaber making it extremely difficult to defend or fight against as jedi combat training didnt perpare for such a weapon in fact kalan knew very few jedi that practiced with a light whip he had heard some nightsisters of dathomir had used the weapon but to his knowledge they had been massacred by count dooku.
"Its been a while kalan I hear lord vader as failed to kill you twice now means he will reward me greatly if I bring him your head." The inquistor stated her voice augmented by the mask but kalan recognized the voice. "Luna Rayna I was told you were killed in the jedi temple." Kalan said. Luna removed her helmet tossing it aside. "They call me the first sister now. I survived the destruction of the jedi temple kept alive by the emperors orders he was intrigued by my skills with the whip tortured me for weeks before I finally agreed to become one of the inquistors." Luna stated. "You dont have to stay with them I can help you if you let me." Kalan offered.
Luna laughed at the offer shaking her head. "You don't get it kal it's over the empire as united the galaxy more than the republic ever did. Order and law as been enforced and the galaxy is finally getting the peace it always wanted." Luna said. It pained kalans heart to hear someone he once cared deeply for speak in such a way and the fact he sensed no doubt in her through the force. "You and the other remaining jedi are just relics of an age that's already had its time and it's time to put the jedi order to rest." Luna stated. "You know the sith won't be able to maintain the peace it's only a matter of time before their firm hold on the galaxy turns into a strangle and their destructive nature brings it down its the way of the dark side." Kalan stated hoping to reach his friend.
"Then why don't you join me become an inquistor kalan embrace the dark side and swear your loyalty to the empire and together we could prevent the empire from falling even if it means taking it over in the process." Luna offered. Kalan undid his cloak letting it fall to the floor as he unclipped his lightsaber. "I can't do that Luna even for you." Kalan said. Luna nodded her understanding unclipping her own weapon she ignited the lightwhip into a single flexible blade that left burns and gouches in the floor she lashed out with the whip kalan ignited his lightsaber deflecting the whip only for the flexible blade to curve around his catching him on the back with a glancing blow leaving a shallow burn which made kalan grit his teeth against the pain that shot through his back but he charged at Luna evading her lightwhip even as she tried to back up to keep a good distance between them as the lightwhip was deadly for its flexibility and unpredictable nature but it lacked any real defensive abilities if one could close the distance they could strip the lightwhip user of its advantages.
She cracked the whip trying to curve it around kalan hoping to cut him into pieces only for kalan to roll under the whips blade performing a powerful upward swing that deflected the whip aside and closing the distance between them.
Luna thumped a switch changing the whip like blade to a standard lightsaber blade as she clashed blades with kalan who blasted her with a force push sending her crashing against the wall she hit it hard knocking the wind from her she glared at him unleashing a blast of blue bolts of lightning that kalan caught on his lightsaber as he continued to move toward her.
She rolled to her feet igniting her lightwhip and lashing out at kalan who jumped over the whip landing next to her and slashing at her throat she barely brought the back of the whip up in time to block the strike which deflected his blade but shorted her lightwhip making the blade disappear opening her up to a punch to the gut she felt kalans artifical fist crack her ribs before being elbowed in the jaw while kalan snatched her lightwhip from her grasp as she staggered backward  blood filling her mouth as two of her bottom teeth had been broken.
She spat blood on the floor glaring at kalan who made no move to attack her his blade extinguished. "Its not too late Luna I can help you but you have to let us help you." Kalan said sincerely she felt his sincerity through the force it was almost a pleading feeling. "I don't want to destroy you I rather save you." Kalan said.
She fell to her knees in tears breaking down crying. "Kalan... I can't..." she sobbed. Kalan felt her sadness her guilt in the force but it was a cover for her malice her lethal intent and the darkness that drove her and that truly saddened him. "I'm  sorry luna." He said before using the force to destroy her lightwhip he turned to leave only to hear her ignite a second hidden lightsaber she charged at kalan who spun with speed he hadn't shown before slashing her severing her right hand at the wrist and arm at the shoulder this time when she collapsed to the deck the pain was genuine so was the regret that her anger had cost her an arm.
Kalan extinguished his lightsaber. "Do it finish me!" Luna yelled. Kalan was silent as he walked away meeting Dez and hk at the facilities hangar bay where their starfighters waited. "Statement: master its a relief to see you unharmed. Statement: master I do believe leaving that meatbag alive is a mistake. Offer: master I could go and cease her existence quickly if you wish?" Hk said. "No now get in dez's fighter." Kalan ordered. "Who was she?" Dez asked. "Luna she was a jedi knight we became close near the beginning of the clone wars but thought it wasn't the proper time for any romantic relationships we didnt see eachother much after that." Kalan explained. Dez raised a brow at the word romantic relationship. "Romance really?" Dez asked. "Its in the past." Kalan said. "Where it better stay." Dez teased.
They got in their fighters taking off to see a star destroyer most likely the one Luna had come from dez went to hyperspace but kalan had to throw his fighter into evasive maneuvers as Lunas fighter fired at him he opened a comm channel to the fighter. "Luna stop this!" Kalan yelled. "Die jedi!" Luna yelled as he evaded her fire as she pushed him toward the star destroyer which started firing with its turbo lasers at kalans fighter as he allowed the force to flow through him and entered in maneuvers dancing through the destroyers fire and Lunas he noted her maneuvers weren't as clean nor as quick as they had been during the war which was most likely due to the loss of her arm and the dark side rage that fueled her.
He flew along the top of the star destroyer firing his fighters lazer cannons into the destroyers turbo lazer towers picking the destroyers weapons off one by one as Luna chased him. He lined his fighter up with the next tower which brought its cannons to bear. "Last chance Luna break off your attack!" Kalan yelled. "I will never stop!" Luna yelled.
The cannon fired and kalan juked his fighter to the side allowing Lunas fighter to take the hit directly as kalan destroyed the tower and Lunas fighter erupted into a fire ball. Kalan jumped to hyperspace escaping the encounter.
