you choose to keep hidden
to spare you reflection some criticism
"you" seem beautiful
but you begin to lose color
begin to lose a reflection
begin to be forgotten
now every time you try to look for yourself
in each crack and crevice of the mirror
you'll begin to wish that you'd never changed
