Chapter 3

Kavya's POV:

It's been almost 3 months. My university life was going well.

But the thing I most find sus is that almost every new student got troubled in college except me, that boy and his friend.

But it's good because not everywhere I can tolerate violence already I have enough in my life.

I was on the stairs leading to my college classroom when I bumped into someone's hard chest. I closed my eyes tightly, ready to hit the ground, but instead of falling, someone straightened me. When I opened my eyes, I saw the most unexpected person standing there, holding my waist.

None other than that boy. After our staring contest, I straightened up myself and mumbled,"Thank You".

I was about to leave when I felt a hand on my wrist. I turned to face him and pulled my hand back from his hold.
He said,"My name is ABHIMAAN."

I nodded and said,"I'm Kavya."

He nodded.

And I hurriedly entered the classroom and sat beside the girl.

Wherever I go, all I hear about is Abhimaan. He is really famous among the girls, but none have the courage to approach him and confess their feelings.

It was time for the lunch break, and I was quietly eating my food when I saw Abhimaan's friend coming towards me and sitting in front of me.

He said, "Hello, I am Sidharth. How are you?"

I replied,"Myself Kavya, I am fine. What about you? And suddenly how u came to me. Your that shameless friend chodh gya kya tumhe?"
(Your friend left you, did he?)

His face fell down and replied,"My Abhi can never leave me. Ya I came here because from the day I first noticed you and realised that you are like my sister."

I said,"Wh-at? Your sister. Where is she ? Does she look like me ?"

He replied with a sad chuckle,"No, she left this world. Her name was Khushi. She committed suicide because she was bullied at school and never told our family, maybe because she didn't find us trustworthy. She was cute and honest like you. I can see my sister in you."

I replied,"I-I am sorry. It's sad to hear that. "

Then with a smile I said,"From now on, I will be your sister forever."

He chuckled and said,"Yes why not or kya pata tum sister se sister-in-law ban jao meri."
( Who knows, you might go from being a sister to a sister-in-law.)

I choked on my food and said,"What do you mean by that?"

Sidharth replied while standing,"Nothing, whenever you need something, your brother is always here to protect you. bye".

Abhimaan's pov:

It's been three months since I started staring at her without even knowing her name. After witnessing the bullying, I warned everyone in college that no one was to touch her or Siddharth. Since my dad is a partner in this college's property, everyone is afraid of me. But it's good; I don't like to talk much either.

Finally I got to know her name,Kavya. This feeling is different. I want to know her. I want to get closer to her. She is an innocent soul.

Sidharth even noticed it and started teasing me about her.

When it was lunch break, I got a call from my dad and he told me that he wants me to accompany him to France for some business purpose as I will be the next CEO.
