After 1 Month:

Kavya's POV:

It's been a month since our beautiful wedding. Lately, I've been experiencing frequent headaches. Maan has been giving me medicine for months now, ever since that incident. I take it without asking questions. He says it's because of weakness.

Our company and family are doing well. Agastya's wedding is scheduled for four months from now. Kiara is like a younger sister to me. She's clumsy, childish, and pure-hearted.

Yesterday was Raksha Bandhan, and Sid came over to celebrate with me. I cried a lot. He and Agastya have always made sure I never feel like I lack siblings.

I've explored many places in this penthouse, and there's even a library. I spend most of my time there whenever I'm at home.

For the past two days, Maan hasn't allowed me to go to the office because of my health. He mentioned that he has something important to tell me, and I'm curious to know what it is.

Today, I wore an Indian outfit-a white Anarkali. He'll be surprised to see me in something like this since I don't usually wear such clothes.

Suddenly, my phone rang, and I saw Maan's name on the screen.
I answered excitedly,"Hello."

He replied in a tense tone,"Kuku, can you bring my file to the office right now? I forgot it at home, and it's important. The meeting is going to start in an hour."

"Okay, where is it?" I asked.

"It's in my wardrobe, a blue file on top," he responded. I nodded, and he hung up.

Abhimaan's POV:

It's an important file, and I can't trust anyone else with it. Sid is out of town today, and Agastya is on a business trip. I called Kavya. She's been ill for a few days, and I know why. I've decided to tell her the truth today. I'm scared of how she'll react. I'm waiting for her now.

Kavya's POV:

I was searching for the file in his wardrobe. I finally found it, but as I was taking it out, some papers fell.
I put the file aside and started gathering the fallen papers.

That's when I noticed my name on one of them. It was a hospital file. My breath hitched as I read that I'm in the early stages of a brain tumor. Tears welled up in my eyes.

He knew all along. He hid it from me. The medicine and everything else were lies. I've been living a lie for months. My hands started trembling. I sat there, clutching the hospital file, tears streaming down my face. I don't know how much time passed.
