I decided to post some facts related to my first book's journey.
So let's go..

1) I began writing this book in March and completed it by May, but I didn't have the courage to release it right away.
2) Before publishing, I had a conversation with one of my closest friends, and she encouraged me to take the plunge.
3) After publishing, I thought she'd be the only one reading it. But with the guidance of some fellow authors, I learned a lot about book promotion.
4) Initially, my friend managed my Instagram account, but as she got busy, I gradually took over and handled everything myself.
5) A big thank you to my mom, who has been my biggest supporter and friend. She even suggested the name "Kavya."
6) Kavya's character is a reflection of me in some ways, but not entirely. I've always been drawn to stories about domestic abuse and the trauma children endure, which inspired me to make her a strong and ambitious girl.
I want people to look at her and say, "She went through so much, yet she's still standing strong. Never give up."
7) Abhimaan is a creation of my imagination-the kind of man I'd love to have in my life in any form, though I've never met anyone like him in reality.
8) Kuku is actually my real nickname 🥲. Thank you for shipping me with my own fictional character 😁.
9) In the first draft, there were no intimate scenes. I added them during editing before publication.
The letter from Kavya to Abhijeet and Kritika's cameo were spontaneous additions, and I'm glad you all enjoyed them.
10) And finally, the book was always meant to have a happy ending. I never considered giving it a sad one, but I loved how many of you were unsure about it, and I played along. 💞
11) My male and female leads can be anything, but they can never be toxic. I focus on highlighting mental health issues, personal flaws, and other social concerns.
