Chapter 8

Kavya's POV:

My hands are shaking and my body is trembling by fear. With my shaky hands, I called the person who came to my mind first but I let it go but now I have to do this.
Only he can save me now.
While sobbing I clicked the name of my comfort, saviour and love.

He picked the call in the second ring, "Hello Kuku, Are you okay ? How you call me at this hour? What happened?"

He didn't let me speak and my hands covered my mouth to control my sobs. Now how can I tell him that my family is only the reason for this situation. How can I tell him that the people who brought me into this world are behaving like monsters with me. How can I tell him the way he treats and cares for me is what I never received.

I replied,"Maan, can you come here to my building. I-I am in trouble. Please come."

That's all, it was enough for him to raise his rage and now his hands shaking in anger while listening to her vulnerable voice.

He replied,"It will take an Hour or two to reach you. Till then be brave and I am coming. Okay?"

I replied between my sobs,"Y-es. Come fastly Maan. They'll kill me. I am afraid. "

He replied," I am coming. Okay. Don't lose your hope. I will not let anything happen to you. Just breathe and I will be there asap. Hide somewhere. And I love you, you know that na? So believe me. I am already on my way."

I said between my sobs," I kno-w. I believe you. I-I am cutting the call now what if they he-ar me."

He said,"Okay mi amore, I am coming."

I never thought our first meeting after 3 years will be like this. We used to talk on the phone once or twice a week but seeing him after years and in this vulnerable state of mine is embarrassing.

But with this I opened my apartment main door and it created sound and I saw my dad's room light going switch on. I quickly ran out of it.
And started going from stairs to the ground floor.
I heard footsteps of someone. I know it's my dad. Shit I have to go to terrace.
I entered another wing of building and
reached to terrace. I can't breathe properly because of the body pain and continuously running. I sat on ground of terrace and it was full dark. I am waiting for him.

Abhimaan's POV:

Finally after years I came to India. It felt like I was at my home finally.
I am getting CEO position in some days. I completed my MBA and even worked as an employee. I am happy that I did hard work to reach the position.
My parents are so proud of me. I became more masculine than before. Gym is like my bestie now.
My parents and brother welcomed me with a love filled heart.
I got to know that Siddharth is out of station.
I want to meet my Kuku as soon as possible.

It's already 11 pm at night and I was thinking about something but then my phone rang and I saw her name visible.

I got worried because she never called me at night. So I picked.
After listening to her half talks. I felt rage. I always knew somewhere that something was off with her family.
So while talking to her I went to my house's parking lot and saw my car.

It took 1 hour 39 minutes to reach near her building as she already sent me her location and told me exactly where she is.

When I was about to enter her building, the watchman stopped me and asked who I am so I lied that I am kavya's family friend.
So they let me enter it as they didn't find anything suspicious about me. I ran towards the Wing and finally I reached the terrace.

I looked around and saw my KUKU sitting on ground with her hand on her head.
I ran towards her and I saw her flinching, so I said while sitting in front of her,"It's me, Your Maan."

She looked towards my face and I saw her puffy eyes and her lips are wobbling. I saw scars on her face and I felt so angry.
When I was thinking about all this she suddenly hugged me tightly and I hugged her back instantly.
She started crying while clutching my shirt tightly. She is trembling badly. I never saw her this vulnerable. I will not gonna leave the people who did this to her.
I hugged her tightly while caressing her head. "Shh, calm down, I am here. Nothing gonna happen to you. I am with you, you are safe. Kuku, my love, amore, calm down. Hmm are u listening me?"

She nodded her head and then she broke the hug and saw me with her teary eyes which broke my heart badly.

She said,"Take me from here."
I nodded.
I helped her to get up finally. And we both reached the building's ground floor and there I saw a man approaching me with so much fury.
