(Happy Reading 💜)
Kavya's POV:
We were all sitting around the dinner table when Maan's concern for my health began to show more strongly. Two months ago, we visited the doctor, who said my weight was dangerously low. Maan's protective nature had turned into a strict vigilance that was becoming difficult to handle.
As we ate, Agastya broke the silence, "Bhai, give me less work. I have a fiancée to attend to. She'll eat me alive if I go on another business trip."
I gave him a sympathetic look.
"No, Agastya, this deal is too important. I can't go because I have more pressing matters to attend to here," Maan replied firmly.
Agastya sighed, clearly exhausted,"Okay, Bhai."
I smiled at Agastya as he left for the office after touching Mom's feet and giving me a hug.
Later that Night:
I was lying in Maan's arms, trying to sleep when a sharp pain suddenly shot through my head. I tried to ignore it at first, but it quickly became unbearable. I tapped on Maan's shoulder, and he immediately sat up, taking me into his arms.
"What happened? Are you okay? Why are you breathing so heavily?" he asked, his voice filled with worry.
"Maan, I-I don't feel well," I stammered.
"We're going to the hospital, KuKu," he said, his tone leaving no room for argument.
"No, just give me some tablets," I pleaded.
"Are you out of your mind? Look at your condition. We're going to the hospital," he insisted, scooping me up and rushing out of the room.

At the Hospital:
Abhimaan's POV:
I was anxiously waiting for the doctor to tell me what was happening with her. When he finally approached me, his expression was grave.
"I need to speak with you," the doctor said.
I nodded, dreading what was coming next.
"Sir, her health is deteriorating rapidly. I recommend surgery, but it would be best if it were done in the USA. We can make arrangements at one of the best hospitals there," he explained.
It was hard to process everything at that moment, but I knew I had to do whatever it took.
"Yes, doctor. Please make the arrangements. Nothing should happen to her," I responded, my voice firm.
He nodded and gave me a reassuring pat on the shoulder before leaving.
I walked into her room, where she was sitting on the bed with an IV attached to her arm.
I tried to smile, but it faded when she weakly called my name,"Maan."
Her health wasn't just bad; it was getting worse by the day.
Without saying anything, I hugged her tightly.
She looked up at me, confused.
"What's wrong, Maan?"
"Nothing," I lied, not wanting to worry her further.

Two Days Later:
I found out that the surgery would be performed in Florida. I informed my family and Sid, and finally managed to convince Kavya, though it took some effort. However, my mom was adamant that we shouldn't go alone.
