Light Me Up Again

Chapter 11

I hear crying in the distance and see luci running towards the house, I see her face red, and she runs towards me and right into my lap. She has her arms wrapped around my shoulders, and she is sobbing into my shirt. I run my hands over her hair, and I rock her in hopes that it will calm her down. "What happened over there?" I ask with concern. " I love him," she says while wiping her eyes. I knew she did, and she always did even when we were young.

"Lily is going to be here soon. Go and wash up, and I'll start to cook. We don't want to worry her or arlo. " She nods, and I begin to cook dinner. After a while, luci comes into the kitchen looking amazing. She straightened her long brown hair, subtle but beautiful makeup, wearing black tights and a baggy t-shirt that she had tied from the front. "Wow, what's the occasion?" I ask. "Nothing, I just felt like making an effort on myself." She is always well presented, but tonight she is going to make Arlo speechless.

I finished dinner just as Lily walked through the door. "Hello, my love," and I lean over and kiss her. "Wow, this dinner looks amazing, luci." Luci's head shoots up from her phone. "Oh, I didn't make dinner. Your fiancé did." Lily looks over to me and winks. "You look stunning luci, why the effort?" I look to luci waiting for what she is going to tell her. "No reason." Short and sweet. Moments later, arlo walks through the door and sees luci. His mouth drops, and his eyes widen.

We sit for dinner, and I pour everyone a glass of red wine. I am complamented for my cooking, but I was more worried about lilie's answer. I look over to luci to encourage her to ask Lily, but I let something else slip.

"Elliot." My eyes widen as they all turn and see him enter the room. "Oh Elliot, I thought you went back to the city with Anna," Lily says while hugging her brother. "Yeah, man, same I thought you left?" Arlo says while shaking his hand.

He sits at the table with us, and I see luci making him a plate of food. "Unfinished business," he says and takes a bite of the food. Luci picks up the wine bottle and fills up our glasses.

"So, Lily, I was thinking about trialling a new system, it wouldn't affect work capacity or our clients. we will have access to it 24/7, and clients can contact us at any time. This system will allow us to take time off to be with our loved ones. it's called remote working."
Luci pauses, waiting for lilies' reaction.

"Ok, let's trial remote working and see how it goes, I am going to take time off when we have the wedding, so I might as well give it a go."

We all jump up from our chairs and dance around. "Wow, that was easier than I expected," luci says and hugs Lily. I lean down and kiss her. " That's amazing. You will try it out, I can't wait to have you alone and work free."

We cleaned up and sat by the fire, Arlo went up to shower, and I could see Elliot aching to say something to luci. "Go say something." I nudge him with my elbow. He shakes his head and continues to look at her beauty. His phone began to ring, and he walked outside to answer it. "Yeah," he answers and walks away from the house.

Lily grabs my arm. "I'll be back, luci," and she pulls me upstairs. We get to the room, and she pushes me onto the bed. "Dinner tonight was good, babe; I didn't know you knew how to cook that well."

She jumps on top me and pulls my shirt off. She unties my trackpants and pulls them off my legs. I sit up on my elbows, and I kiss Lily up and down her neck. She is letting out small moans. I begin to undress her until she is in her bra and panties.

I see her smile as she hands me an apron, "Put this on," she instructs. I do as im told, and im rewarded by her naked body. She kneels down, her face in line with my length. She opens her sweet full lips and takes me in. She begins to move back and forth until we hear a loud BANG! From outside. We get dressed and run down to see Elliot surrounded by upside down furniture.
