Before my surprise visit from lily I was on the phone to the venue that Anna had picked to try secure a date, I have been on and off the phone with them for months, "Im sorry Mr Reynolds, like I mentioned we only have New year's day available" the lady on the line says again.
I give in "secure the date, please." If this is what Anna wants, then she will get it. After my phone call, I heard continuous banging on my front door.

Lily walks into the home out of breath. "Anna- I- saw her- restaurant - a man." She says in-between her breathing. "What are you doing here?"Dress shopping with Luci, " my face lights up at the sound of her name, "Where is she then?" I say while looking around the room "In the car". I open my phone and look at the camera in my garage. I can't see her. She must be in the car, but a smile falls to my face at the thought of her even near the building.

"Did you know anna was going out? Isn't she at work today?" Lily breaks my trance with her question about anna, "she told me. She was meeting some friends for lunch and will be home after. "

Lily's smile was off, and I could see she was getting a weird feeling about anna as well. Before she left I handed her the package with the frames "could you give this to Luci, I replaced a frame I broke", and I watch her leave with butterflies flying around in my stomach, what will luci say? Will she like the other photo?

Anna arrived home a little after 7 pm. "How was lunch today with your friends? What did you girls get up too" "It was fine, just had lunch," she says while walking quickly to the bathroom, locking the door.

I walked over to where anna threw her bag to look for her phone, I searched her bag for any receipts or anything that may be suspicious. I found her phone; I attempted to open it, but a passcode alert flashed on the screen. Hmm, that's odd. She never used to have a passcode on her phone.

I place my ear against the bathroom door, I can hear the shower running and the muffled sound of her moaning. She is playing with herself in the shower, and a few minutes later, she comes. I throw myself back off the door as I see my maid enter the room.

"Lolita." I walk over to her and signal for her to step into my office. "I have a horrible feeling Anna is cheating on me, Lily said she saw her with a man today, and she has come home smelling like a man. Today, she ran to the bathroom and locked her phone, something isn't right, and I need to get down to the bottom of it. Please, if you find anything a restaurant receipt or something, please let me know. " Lolita nods and continues her duties.

That night, I lay in the spare room and get myself off to the thought of luci. The next morning, Anna had left before I woke, and the maid had breakfast ready,

"Sir, I found this in the bedroom while cleaning the clothes." she hands me an invitation ,and yes, sir, her clothing does smell like men. " I look down at the invitation. it's blank besides an address and the name Samuel.

My phone begins to ring, its colin, "Hey man, so Luci has organised the party, we have go-karts in the morning, then lunch with the men and meeting at a club after."

"No worries, message me the details, and I'll be there." I hang up the phone and leave for my gym, I scroll my numbers and dial Luci's number. The phone calls a few times, but I hang up quickly before she answers. I throw my phone down and start a session of boxing.

After boxing, I notice a missed call notification, I open it and listen to the voice mail. "Hey Elliot, it's Luci. Um, is everything ok? You called but hung up. I hope you're doing well. " And the line goes silent. My heart skipped a beat when I heard her voice. The whole day, I replayed the message over and over.
