Lily

Its been just over a month since Luci and Arlo left for Australia and they are coming back today, me and colin made sure the house was in order and my father rushed up stairs to one of the rooms to do something. When he was done, he sat me down and held my hands, Colin stood behind me, waiting for my father to speak.

"When they get here, you need to act normal, Victoria has cancer, and she isn't well at the moment. Robert and Vici will be stay here permanently while we treat her, Robert has asked Arlo to stay home on the days she isn't at the hospital, so right now more then ever they are going to need our support. So just be aware and prepared"

The news hits me like a ton of bricks, and I burst into tears. Victoria is like my second mother, and it's going to be hard to see her suffer, but I will be strong and supportive, like my dad said. "Thanks for letting us know, Christian," Colin says, speaking for me. "Everything will be ok, lily, don't worry." Dad pats me on the back and continues setting up her room.

I wipe my face clean, and I fix my makeup. "colin, I need to run some errands in the city. I will be back as soon as I can. You can sleep here or our room, I don't mind. " Colin grabs my face and squishes it. "Go do what you have to, I will see you soon." he kisses me, and I jump into my car, destination, Elliot.

As I arrive at his apartment, I can hear heavy metal playing in the back ground, he has it so loud that it's shaking the glass doors. I walk in and follow the horrid screaming of the singer echoing through the house. I bang on the gym door with a fist, hoping he will hear it over that music.

I wait to see if the door opens, but nothing. I 6 both fists and bang on the door harder, not stopping till he opened it, "WHAT!" he yelled as he swung the door open.

He stepped back from the door and signalled for me to enter; I sat on the sofa in the gym. As he continues to punch the bag in the middle of the room, I look around to see some of the equipment thrown over the floor.

"What happened, Elliot?" he continues to push the bag, ignoring my question. I open my phone, connect the stereo, and turn the music down to a tolerable level.

"Sit down, Elliot, I need to tell you something," I scream as I point to the sofa next to me. He sighs and walks his way over. "Elliot, Victoria is sick. She isn't well at all. The cancer has progressed. " He looks to me. "Is this why you drove all the way here? to tell me she is sick.". I look up to him as if I was ready to grab his hand and guide it to punch himself in the face. "NO!, I came here to check on you and to let you know Luci is struggling as well as you, but like I told her, you need to get up and continue your life." He stands and snorts, "Don't bother mum already told me."

He is so hard-headed, and it's hard to communicate with him at times, but he is up, and that's all that matters. At least he isn't drinking and taking drugs. He turns the music up and continues to punch his bag, I close the door behind me and walk down the stairs to leave. At that moment, I see a hand holding annas through the doorway, and she leans in with her lips ready for a kiss. She waves this person goodbye and turns on her heels. She stumbles over her foot and falls to the floor as she notices me watching her.

I run down to pick her up off the floor, her face red. "Oh, gosh. Are you ok?" she gets up and runs to the bathroom, locking the door. I leave the apartment and wait for the elevator. I enter the garage to get into my car to drive home when I notice a man, He is tall and has olive skin, brown hair, and grey eyes. He looks over to me and smiles, I jump into my car and start my journey back to the beach house.
