We walked into the haunted house after purchasing some tickets. It's dark and lit by a few fake candles and chandeliers. The furniture is rusty and old looking, and the floors are dark timber. The floor creaks as we walk through the house. "Woah, this is kind of spooky." He says as we look around. "Is it?" He looks at me with a shocked expression. "Yea! What do you mean?"

I look back at him. "It looks old and dirty to me." "That's literally spooky!" He responds. "No, it's giving old dirty vibes. Like someone was too lazy and didn't clean their house in 30 years." I laugh. "Sounds less scary when you put it that way." "Yea, it does, doesn't it?" We both laughed a bit. As we keep walking, I have a strange feeling like we're being watched.

I sense something hovering over my shoulder, but I don't turn to check. "Damn, why do I feel like there's air coming from behind me?" He turns around as he feels someone breathing over his shoulder, and a scream escapes his mouth as he turns to look. We were being followed by two people dressed in unkept teared up clothes, their faces painted green. "Gosh, that scared me." He says, looking a bit relieved.

"Are you okay?" I say, laughing a bit as I look at him. "Am I okay? Not really. I have a feeling that I'll have trust issues and paranoia when we get out of here." He chuckles as he finishes his sentence. There's a bit of sarcasm in his tone.

"Then let's get out of here before that happens." I chuckle. He takes my hand and I flinch a bit, surprised by his sudden action. He chuckles. "Am I scarier than those monsters?" "N-no, I was just surprised, that's all." "Then maybe they should hire me." He laughs. I blush, feeling a bit embarrassed that I flinched at his sweet gesture. "I just didn't expect this." "Alright, fair enough." He says, chuckling as he sees that I'm blushing.

We walk out of the haunted house after a couple more jump scares that we weren't able to avoid. I didn't think he was the type to get this scared. He lets go of my hand and looks within my eyes. "Let's not do that again. The haunted house part, I mean." He seriously looks like he saw a ghost. I laugh a bit from remembering our time there. "Well, okay."

He gives me the softest smile as we arrive in front of what I'm gonna guess is my house. "I enjoyed our little date, Lili." Was that my name? I smile back, not sure how to ask him what his name is. "Good night." He says, kissing my forehead like he did this morning.

"Yea, goodnight. Take care." I say with a soft smile, feeling all warm and fuzzy. I turn around to face the grand entryway door, which I open. He stands there with a soft smile while looking at me as I close the door behind me. I sigh deeply, feeling exhausted from the day. Facing the door, I mumbled under my breath. "I feel exhausted." "Then go to sleep." A soft female voice says from behind me. "Huh?!"

I quickly turn around to face the spiral staircase. To my surprise, there's no one. Was I hallucinating? But it felt like someone was there. I should probably go to sleep. There in front of me was the staircase I had come down just this morning. I take a step onto it. The timber wood is strong and firm, my hand slides on the golden stair's railing, it's cold.

At the top of the staircase, the lights are still on, shining through the hallway. I walk through the long hall. There are doors on each side of the hallway. I start walking along until I see the familiar door that I got out of this very morning. I grab that same golden door handle and turn it until the white door opens.

The room is still the same, except it's darker. It's the moon that brightens the room, as it penetrates from the large windows in the bedroom. I walk in, mesmerized by the view of the full moon. I can't believe this is my room. Lifting the soft pink duvets from off the bed, I sit at the edge of it.

— I still haven't figured out what happened to my memories, but at least I know a bit more than I did when I woke up. I know my name, Lili, I think. This is my home, I live with my family and he's my boyfriend. That's all I know right now. I'm exhausted from the day, so I just lay in bed, close my eyes and fall soundly asleep as soon as I shut my eyes.
