It's been a month since I've been living like this, without my memories. But now they know, and I'm hoping that I'll slowly recover my memories. For now, they've been really supportive, and I've been visiting my doctor frequently.

She's not sure what could've caused my memory loss, but she's trying her best to help me recover. Still, that's not bothering me as much as it used to. For now, I'm just making new memories with them.

As I lay in my bed, I receive a text message from Eric, and I excitedly get on my phone to check what he sent me.

Eric: Hey Morano. Aren't you tired of running through my mind?

Me: Not at all, lol

Me: I like being in your mind <3

Eric: You keep getting bolder, Morano

Eric: <3

Me: Are you in proximity, Bonzo?

I hear something coming from outside. I'm not sure what it is. I get up from my bed to peek outside my window. "Oh, it's a cute cat!" I open the window to let fresh air in, as I look at the cat walking in the backyard. I receive another text and jump back into bed flat on my stomach, kicking my feet as I look at his text on my phone screen.

Eric: So not only are you bold, you're a psychic too

Me: What r u talking about? Lol

Eric: Don't even pretend like ydk

Me: So, did you see the cat?

Eric: Yeah, I did

Me: Did u know (fun fact) I thought I reincarnated as a cat the day I lost my memories? Lmao

Eric: Lol, I wish. That would've been funny.

Eric: You do know that I'm struggling down here trying to climb your tree

Me: No, lol. R u the cat?

Eric: Yea, how'd u know?

Me: I was just making a wild guess

Eric: not so wild of a guess

"Hey, a little help over here, Morano!" Surprised, I turn my head to look behind me. At the window frame, I see him holding onto the edge of my window. "What are you doing here, Bonzo?" I say teasingly, as I get up to go see him at the window. I can't help but laugh when I see him.

"I was just climbing this tree when I stumbled upon your window." He says sarcastically, a soft smirk on his lips. We stare into each other's eyes for a moment before bursting out laughing. I help him get inside, and he gets down from the window frame into my bedroom.

Stepping down from the window frame, his balance is unstable and he slightly trips. I catch him, our chests touch, and I hold him by his upper arms so he doesn't fall on me. "Where were you going like that?" I laugh again. "Sorry, I didn't just kind of trip. I was actually trying to give you a hug." He says, but I can tell he's joking as he smiles at me and chuckles. "Yea right, liar." I chuckle.

"Yea, I guess I'm a bit of a liar. I even made you think I was the cat." "I didn't believe you, though." I respond. "Oh yea?" Our eyes lock and I realize were so close. "Did I just make the bold Morano blush?" He smirks at me. "What? No... Well yes." I can't hide the fact that he made me flustered. He smiles and kisses my forehead. "You're cute." He says as we make eye contact. -I'm cute? For some reason, those words kept resonating in my head, and suddenly I see like a flashback.

It's like his words triggered my memories. At that very moment, I felt like I was watching a movie replaying in my mind. I was laying there on a road at night looking at the dark sky above. The rain poured on my face as if the stars were falling down to meet me. I sat up onto the cement road, in front of me I saw a young man, my age, looking right at me. He didn't carry an umbrella under all that rain, and yet he smiled brightly. I could see in his eyes a warm feeling.

"What're you doing, Lili?" He said, in a calm tone. "Don't tell me you were trying to end it all?" He looked at me, this time a stern look on his face. "Maybe." I laughed a bit, but deep down I wanted to cry. He crouched down to face me. "Lili, don't even think about doing that." "It's hard not to when we're in the middle of the road. If a car came we'd probably both end it." "Lili, I'm serious. I really like you and I can't let you go like this. Can you get off the road?" I got up as he offered me his hand and I took it. We walked towards the sidewalk holding hands.

His were cold, unlike mine, whose hands are always warm. "Did you actually mean it?" He turned his head around to look at me as we walked. "Mean what?" I looked down at my feet as I walked in the puddles. "When you said you liked me. Did you mean it?" He suddenly stopped walking and turned his body around to face me.

It surprised me. -Maybe I shouldn't have asked. He gave me another serious look that I never saw before. He's usually pretty smiley. "Yes, I did mean it, but..." I looked at the pouring rain, not able to look at his face. Scared of what he might say. "I feel butterflies when I'm around you. You bring a smile to my face each time you're around. If that's liking you, then it sure is true." He paused, I was still looking away, but I listened attentively.

"But for me, I'd consider it more than liking you. It's one of those four-letter words, love." He bent down a bit so we we're face to face. "What I mean is... I love you, Lili." My face turned red. I wanted to open my mouth and say something. Tell him that I felt the same way. I couldn't, I just looked at him with my big brown eyes and couldn't believe they started watering. "You're cute." He says as our eyes lock within each other, tears coming down his eyes as well. At this point it was hard to know if we were crying or if it was just the rain pouring on our cheeks.
