Here, I stand above a twelve stories building in Melbourne, a dreamy city in Australia, having a mind with swimming thoughts of how far I've come from where and how I was 2 years ago. The sunset looks so calming, like the sun has completed his duty of brightening the sky so people can work. Now it's departing, going down slowly. Drowning in the river, its total opposite but the other half.

No thoughts of harming myself, no thoughts of jumping off the building, no thoughts of suicide whatsoever. I've finally created a new life, though well academically I've just completed my high school. Still have a long journey to walk on.
I'm from Seoul, Korea. Me and my brother Yeonjun moved to Australia when I was around 15 to complete my high school due to..reasons. Mainly because of myself, I couldn't stick around my home without thinking of my past home, my ex-best friends. But anyways since I've fully recovered, we're moving back.

Because I've got more people there. Who still care for me and love me, my loving family who supported me no matter what I wanted to do. They deserve the appreciation.

But I did meet some great people here too. Found some new beings who stood by me and created a wonderful high school life for me. I'll miss them a lot.
Rosè and Lisa.

"Guess who's daydreaming now."
I turned around.
"The one who's leaving for her home without throwing a farewell party."

I chuckled. Here they are.

"See Rosie, she has already learnt how to live without us." Lisa said while fake crying.
"Well that's for the good, isn't it?" I teased. She pouted.
These two girls really helped me cope up my past I don't know how I would've survived in this new environment without them.
"C'mon Grace let's go out somewhere, to a cafè or something, we are bored plus we don't have much time since you'll be leaving soon." Rosie said smiling woefully.
"Yes rattle your dags,  fancy up we've already asked Yeonjun."
"What? He said yes? No way he was screaming his lungs out ordering me to start packin- oh well yeah of course he said yes to you, Ms.Crush." I stick my tongue out.

Yeonjun has a crush on Lisa but she didn't even let him try it's kinda humorous to look upon their situationship. I have no idea why she didn't but it wasn't that serious, my brother didn't cry at nights. But we still tease her about it. (she's super annoyed)

"Say that one more time you'll have devils wishing upon you." she warned kinda angry but who cares she'll be okay the next second.
I just laughed.
"Okay okay enough bickering now can we please depart? I can't handle you two anymore" Rosie frowned
We gasped dramatically at her

"Okay then! Let's get cracking." Lisa clapped happily and threw her arms around both of us.
Rosie is half-Australian and half-korean while Lisa had the same case as me, she is thai but learnt korean due to her interest in Korean culture and customs. She still speaks broken korean though. Coincidently we all met each other and immediately clicked.

We got ready and headed down the inclined streets. Melbourne is my favorite city in Australia(it's the only city I've lived in). Cold breeze hitting our faces, hair falling back, leaves crunching beneath our feets, stray puppies in a corner playing around. There is never not a good time to treasure nature. It's magnificent. Holds both, the most beautiful and petrifying things altogether.
Walking down with these girls reminded how we all balled out our eyes in the school restroom when I told them I was moving back. The maid judged us real bad. They mean so much to me they have given so much undeserved love of friendship that I could never be more happy. We made a bucket list for the events we'll do in this week and one of it was this new cafe.
"And we're here!" Lisa exclaimed
"Wow just looks like the covers on internet, my lord." I said.
"Well I told you my suggestions are never bad, knew this place will be fantastic" Rosie flaunted, flipping back her glamorous blonde hair. I think I've never seen someone suit blonde hair this well when it's not natural. It's cool how she pulls them off.
"Ok miss, let's not judge the book by it's cover and head inside, shall we?" I said.

Well damn I was wrong. The walls were black and white with unique designs and it was constructed a 2D way, like animes. Why does it seem so familiar though? It reminds me of something but I just can't think of it.
My thoughts were interrupted by Lisa jumping around like a bunny and randomly posing, Rosie too. I took my phone out to record the silly moments since they'll be the most precious ones when I go back.
I joined them, posing sassily(if that's a word). We took a table, ordered some cuisines, deserts and just chilled while chit-chatting.
"Oh my these brownies..holy shit?" Rosie said, widening her eyes. Agreed, these might be the most perfect brownies I've ever had, in this small cafè wow.
"So will you continue to record covers? Or try writing a song?" Lisa asked
"Hell yeah, I know it will be hectic but I'll manage time somehow and record some songs, we will still make duets." I said
"Of course we will, and you better keep up with time and with your schedules, we'll call you every night and we'll do karaoke." Said Rosie with mouthful of brownie.
"For sure bestie."

We came back after four hours that felt like four minutes. I bid goodbyes to them and went back to my apartment. I always loved singing.
I used to sing with them all the time, we used to make short raps and verses by inspirations from our favorite artists and try to create some pieces of work but it never really worked lol. It brought some bitter memories when I sung the same songs with Rosie but I liked the bittersweet feeling because I loved singing.
"Welcome home sis." Yeonjun popped the door open.
"Home? Nah, I'll hear these words from Mom and Dad only." I smiled brightly.
"Oh yeah for sure. How's the day?"
"Pretty nice, I'm trying to spend as much time as I can with them."
"Yeah you should, y'all clicked pics? Show me."
"Oh yes look, I've no idea what we were doing there. Unserious as always." I giggled while showing him the pictures.
Then I realised where his eyes were.
"Hey, stop staring at my bestfriend, move on loser she has rejected you more than five times."
"Shut it, it's not a crime to fall in love." he said dramatically while admiring Lisa.
"I don't know how I'll handle you on the video calls" I face-palmed myself and snatched my phone from him.

"Wait, were you at the Lee's 2D cafe?"
"2D cafe..yeah. Lee? Oh is it owned by some korean?"
"Oh. Yeah maybe" He replied dryly
I was taken aback with the sudden dry tone so I asked what's up but he said nothing. Then I just said goodnight and flew to my room.
I did my night routine and plopped down on the bed staring at the ceiling.
Tomorrow is Sunday, we are leaving on monday in the morning.
I'm excited and skeptical at the same time.
'Everything will be alright right?' I certainly don't wanna meet anyone uninvited.
I sighed and closed my eyes.
