Rafe x Reader-I Need You

I am riding my motorcycle to the Cameron House right now. It is pouring rain so it isn't really smart to be on my bike but I don't care at this moment. Rafe just sent me a text:

Y/n, I can't see you again. Don't come here! Don't try to see me! Please, just stay away from me. Okay.

And let's just say I am p***ed! Why would he send me a text like this? What did I do? Why can't I see him? Why can't he see me?

I pull up to the Cameron house to see Rafe is walking back up to his house from the car. The rain is pouring really hard and it is really hard to hear. I get off of my bike and start to walk up to the house.

"Rafe!" I yell.

He stops immediately and turns around slowly knowing it is me.

"Y/n, I told you I don't want to see you again!" Rafe yells at me.

I make it up to him so we are standing about a foot away from each other.

"No! Rafe, you said you can't see me again!"

"I mean't to say don't!"

"I can tell you are lying!"

He stays silent at my comment.

"Y/n, I need you to leave! You can't be here!"

"I just need to know why! Why can't I see you again?"

"Y/n, please, just leave!" I hear Rafe's voice break as he talks.

"No, Rafe, I can't!"

"Then I will!"

Rafe turns around to continue to walk up to his house. I start to walk after him.

"No, Rafe! Please! Why can't I see you again? What did I do to you?!"

Rafe turns around quickly and we end up face to face. He has an angry/heartbroken expression on his face.

"You didn't do anything, Y/n! I can't see you because my dad will hurt you! You are a Pouge! He wants to kill you and the others! He wants to hurt you and- and if he wants me to hurt you I can't because at the end of the day I-I-I'll choose you!"

I stare into his eyes as he finishes. Rafe is just trying to protect me....

I grab his soaking wet shirt and pull him towards me. Our lips connect and fireworks go off like crazy. His hands wrap around my waist pulling me closer. I don't want to stop. It just feels so right. I feel like if I let him go he will vanish into thin air. I slowly pull away from him and put our foreheads together.

"I can't lose you. I can't." Rafe whispers.

"You won't. I promise." I whisper back. "Just don't leave me, please."

"I won't. I can't. I need you. I am in love with you, Y/n."

"I am in love with you, too, Rafe."
