(2) WHAT DID YOU SAY!?

"Ma... Dad... What's even going on?" Rain asked unease, seems uncomfortable in his seat.

"Rain, sweetheart..." His mom. Rest her son's hand into hers and gently rubbed it. Rain's mother's voice felt zippered so she glance on her husband. Her husband's understood what she mean

"Rain, promise me that you won't get mad at me and your mother" Rain nodded easily, waiting for the answer he waited from the start.

"We're... We're not actually blood-related" Rain felt a little anger building up but also process what his so called father said to him.

"Rain, don't be mad, hm?" His mom comforted him.

"If I am not your son then who am I?" His parents was about to tell him but the guard did the thing for them.

"You're a prince, your royal highness" Rain even got shocked, he almost fall from his seat .

"WHAT DID YOU SAY!?" Rain was now standing Infront of everyone as his eyes was widen than before.

Rain gaze on his parents looking an answer to their eyes yet his parents avoid eye contact from him. So he taken it as a joke but no one follows him laughing, that's when he learned that the man isn't lying.

His voice disappeared... his lips tremble... his tears almost fell from his eyes. Rain can't process all of this, his headache even added along with his problems.

Rain ran upstairs, now his tears started falling off. Rain closes the door as soon as he arrived inside, and leaned his back on the door and let his remaining tears escape along with the voices he kept earlier.

"WHY!?" He slammed his hand in the floor.

Rain's parents felt guilty, after all they kept this secret from him after they found him near their door step, not even thinking of revealing this secret to their dearest son sooner.

"I will let you bring my son back to whatever that place he belong but please let him stay here for a few days" rain's mom request. So every misunderstanding of their family can be solved before rain is officially back to suppose to be his life would be.

The man agree "just call this number" he handed a card.

"Thank you for understanding" He smiled before leaving..

"I suggest you talk with the prince, after all communication is best way to solve everything"

For the whole day, they let their son be alone in his room. And once it's time for dinner rain's mom deliver some Infront and leave Infront of his door.

Rain's mom sight for the 14th time "honey, stop sighting"

"Do your think rain will forgive us?" She held her husband's hand.

"He will, honey. For now let him be, rain will surely approach us on his own"

"Mom, dad" rain called. standing little far from the table, a trace of tears was seen left on his face.

His mom stand from her seat and walk towards his son "rain. I really didn't mean to lie to you, I Just... Can bring that topic to you" Instead of replying back to his mom, rain throw himself to his mom and cried once again "I am sorry for getting mad at you, mom"

They shared a warm and cozy hugged as they already forgive each other, rain's father smile almost shred a tear witnessing his wife-son moment.

"So? Did you get enough sleep this time?" Sig waited for rain's answer.

"Yes, very comfortable sleep this time" today, rain's smile was even brighter than the sun above the sky.

"I am relieved then. You almost made me worried"

"Sorry for making you worried then" rain apologize.

"You seems lovely than this past days. tell me what happen?" Sig asked in curious.

"Well...."

"H*ll nah. Do you really think I will believe yah? Nuh, uh!" Sig refuses, shaking his head.

Por rest his arms on the table "besides, you're the first one to say that fantasies are just fictional stories and events from books" Sig nodding on what por said.

"Yes, I know I used to say that but things are now different" rain raised his eyebrow.

"And what? You now believes? I don't make me laugh, man" sig elbow him.

"Will you two now believe, if I also said that I have a high status than you two?" Rain tried convincing them.

"Pfftt-!" Sig and Por spill their drinks out their mouth, sig continue laughing as if it won't end easily. Sig after laughing stared at rain, rain stared back with sincere looked. That made his friends glance on each other as if their eyes were talking.

"You're not joking?" He asked for confirmation.

"Yes."

"He's not joking!" He shout at Por.

"I can hear you know!" Por shout back.

"So? Tell us from the start"

Sig and Por listen carefully on what rain was about to say. Before telling, rain clear his throat cause he knew it will be a long story to be told .

"Wow. Just wow" Por and sig was speechless.

"So now you believe meh?" He gaze at them.

"So you're adopted but also a prince" sig enumerate, he was hit by Por after.

"Aww!!"

Rain chuckle. "Don't laugh or I will hit yah!" He threaten in joking way.

"Try me?" He smirked.

"Oh, I remember. I can't hit the prince with my filthy hands" he pouted.

"Wow. Sig learned a new word today, por!" He shake por and Por can't stop giggling.

"Hey! I am not dumb?!"

"If you aren't, then can you answer 5x5 now?" Por asked looking straight to sig's eye.

"You're just good at talking, sig. I can relate" rain tapping his back comforting him in a tease way.

"So when will they fetch me here?" Rain asked.

He finished packing his IMPORTANT stuff to his bag, he don't need to bring all of his stuffs cause he knew they will be providing that to him. After all, rain is a prince, a royal highness prince.

"They will be here any minute, rain"

Before they could arrive, His mom held his hand, this could be the last and final that she could held her son..

"Now matter what happen you will always be my son, rain. I might not be your biological mom but I still sees you as my own, our own son" she includes her husband.

"Here" his father gave him a box and Rain opened it, he saw broken heart pendant sitting inside.

His father grabbed that necklace and attached it to rain's neck. "This the necklace you're wearing when we found you, rain. I am just returning what's yours"

rain smiled. "Thanks, dad"

"I won't forget about you guys, thank you for everything you gave. I might be as rich as them but I can't repay what you have did for me even if handed you a high amount of money, it's not enough. I will always be thankful to you two.

Rain's mom shred tears and hugged rain, his father joined as well.

"Go on or else I might back out of you leaving" despite of that, rain laughed.

"Bye! Mom, dad!" Before rain step in the car "I love you two!"
