(30) Crown Prince- No, Crown Princess

All councils have gathered, setting up a meeting to complain about the position of the heir next to the throne which is supposed to be rain's. This issue started after they reached the news that the next heir to the throne once again gone missing because of a certain reason, they believe that the prince is assassinate by someone which until now aren't proven but some says that he is just making excuses to leave or run away from his obligation.

The whole family of the current king arrive at the meeting hall which is rare to see. They greet and bowed down as they continue heading to the higher platform where their royal chairs are located. Duke hemhiran's family are also present there, they instantly thought that they must have purpose of being included in this meeting

"Arise" the royal king said. "State the problem why you set up a meeting" royal king said straight to his point.

Baron lok step forward "Your royal highness" he started. "I didn't mean to be rude to asked this but, how long the position of crown prince wil be still vacant?" He asked.

As what the king thought, they're either wanted to claim that position or arrange their children to his, so they could have a superior position rather than being the untitled daughter/son.

"And why did you asked? I don't see why you're trouble because of our problem, baron lok" the king said in grumpy way. Baron lok felt slightly insulted about the king's behavior. "But-!" He wanted to protest yet the king didn't let him "is there any problem why this held?" He asked, changing the topic baron lok started.

Duke hemhiran chuckle mischievous "Are you feeling frighten?" he started "or perhaps, you're afraid that someone will steal your son's position, your royal highness" he says, his tone are bold enough to speak to the king like that.

The king remained calmed down, not letting his emotions shown. That's when the royal queen takes action, she stood beside the king's throne "Are you perhaps that person then, duke hemhiran?" Now the queen asked him back, counter attacking him with his own question.

"Why would I? It's not like I have something to be angry, both to his and her royal highness" duke hemhiran didn't like what he said, it somehow gives them give a clue. "And? Do you?" Asked back by the royal queen.

Duke hemhiran silent himself and grip his fist harder. If he say anything further or it will be the end of him and his family, He can't risk everything they done for from the Start, everything they worked for 19 years.

Marquess Teo speak out "Your royal highness. About the position of the crown prince... We can't-" he brought it out again, so before he could continue the king spoke again "Marquess teo, you're siding with baron lok".

The royal king will do everything to deny all of what they wanted about and their opinions, he will continue this as long as he can. Even all of them turned against him, they can't do anything because his the king and his the one who will decide at the end.
He will protect the position of his dear son, weather he came back or not.

All of the council member started glancing "Your royal highness. Please don't change the t-" again official Kim was scolded "You're all turning against me now!" He yelled with authority tone.

"What if I said yes, Your royal highness" duke hemhiran spoke bold again. "We can't let that position remain vacant, It been a long time and we needed someone to occupied that position as soon as possible"

Now the table have turned to their side, this made him smirked secretly. Even he the king won't be able to kept this problem aside. The king, in the other hand, are cornered, his emotions almost let out.

Vacancy of the crown prince's position should be occupied as soon as s possible, Incase that something happens to the current king there will be a replacement immediately or it will be a very big problem.

"What will you say, your royal highness" now his cunning smile are visible which is the reason the king started fuming inside.

"Let's patch some words, duke hemhiran" the main door opened revealing the two prince, princess flare and sky. she stopped close to him. "Instead of crown prince, let's replace the word 'prince' shall we?"

"What do you mean, princess" Earl klee stood up. "Did you hit your somewhere, Earl klee? Didn't you forget that I am the next heir succeeding to the throne after brother?" Flare said. Earl klee gaze at the king "You're royal highness. Is that even allow?" he asked.

"Why not? My daughter has a point, as the next child of mine and the queen who's the next after her brother. She has the right to claim herself as the next heir to the throne" he said to office klee.

One by one, some of the council's shouted "I object!"

"I object, Your royal highness. I won't let a princess be the next heir!" He said. "All of the heir to the throne should be a prince and not a princess!" He complained.

"SILENT!" The king made everyone silent by his authority tone. "Never once in our history, a princess become the next heir who will rule the kingdom, so I see why some of you opposed. But, I also see this opportunity to let my daughter, a princess, prove that she can also rule a kingdom. Not just us prince or men can, women and princess also can" royal king glances at his wife.

"Weather you like it or not. I, the king of Nuttarat Tangwai, allowing princess Flare Nuttarat Tangwai as the next heir to the throne" he declared. "End of the meeting"

"Father!" Flare hugged the king. "How's my daughter? Did she give you a hard time?" The royal king asked. Princess flare pouted at his father. "No, she didn't, your royal highness" replied prapai. "Great to hear"

"Your royal highness" phayu started. The king and queen gaze at him. "Can we talked about something?" Phayu request.

Prapai and phayu including flare glances on each other, that made them more confused. "It's about brother, father, mother"
