(10) All Lies

"Right now!? As in today?" Rain was dumbfounded.

"Your royal Highness, I suggest you not to turn back this time, like ditching your supposedly family gathering" sky advice rain. Rain walked back and forth, if only he could think of a great idea to also ditch this meet up with his fiance.

"Your royal highness. Could you please stop walking back and forth?" It wasn't an order it's a request from his butler.

"Sorry, okay? I can't help to do so" rain sat across him. "Sky. Do you have any idea how I could escape this meeting?" Sky almost wanted to knock the prince, so he could be back to his senses. "Didn't you listen on what have said earlier?" He says. Rain shake his head, he didn't listen to his butler cause he thinking of ways to ditch the meeting instead.
"Nope, nu uh!" He disapprove.

Sky sight and sat beside the prince. "Rain" sky speaks not as rain's butler but his friend "you can't resolve any problem if you always ran away. Are you still gonna act like this after you inherit the throne?" Rain can't help but to thought about it.

"Rain, you need to grown up, you're not a kid anymore or a commoner like before. You're now a prince and soon will become a king. Please go and face all of this simple problem because after you inherit the throne you'll be facing even bigger and more problem than this. Please think about what I said without fooling around". Those words said by his friend, sky. It never leave rain's mind, it plays over and over inside and never leave him be.

"Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to have a training with ostel?" His friend phayu say beside him. Rain didn't even felt him coming closer because of it.  Phayu though that rain will follow with a pun on what he said yet rain remained in faze seems like a problem was still unsolved inside his mind.

"Tell me what's bothering you?" Rain faces phayu. "Phi..." A worried tone rain uses. "Can't we just always run away with our problems? Are running away not an option to solve something?"

Phayu twinge. He and rain shared the same problem but even himself hasn't solve this. Shouldn't he solving his first before giving an advice? Phayu even having a second thought if he will attend and not, phayu even scared that if he attended and learned that he lied to rain he will surely harbor a grudge for him.

"Rain... I..." Rain lowered his head. Why can't his friend, phayu. Can't he give him an advice, is he siding on what sky said to him or his though it's wrong to do that. Rain pursed his lips and wrapped his arms around phayu's. "I felt useless right now... A simple problem still I can't solve it. What's worst if I crowned as the new king even the people around me will hold a grudge on me" rain felt disdain. What if all of if his 'what if's came through?

Phayu held him back, he can heard a small sobbing from rain. "Rain" he held him by his shoulder and looked at him straight to his eyes. "If we can't solve this alone, let's solve this together" using his thumb he wipe the shed of tears that tried to escape rain's eye.

"H.how you and I are different" he said. But that's just what rain thought but it's actually the opposite.

"I lied" rain straighten his body. "W.what?". "Rain, I sorry... I am not a servant or someone who works here..." Rain got confuse of the sudden confession of phayu. "I..I am actually your fiance both my and your mother arrange. I didn't mean to lied about my identity,  just..." Phayu explain while rain huffed harder, everything he learned from now can't sink inside.

"You're lying..."

Rain didn't let him explain he instead ran away from his friend and leave him there, no- his fiance actually. Phayu wanted to chase ran out but his body suddenly become heavy unable to stand from his seat.

"I..I am actually your fiance both my and your mother arrange"

"Um.. did you come here or..." He hesitates. "A servant?"

Phayu huffed and play with the him whom he just met earlier.

"I am a servant here and you?" He asked.

All, everything... It's all lies...

Is this all just a dream? If so, please wake me up immediately. I don't wanna stay here anymore...
