(6) Misjuding the prince

"P'Phayu!" The queen burst in. "I told you to visit the prince didn't I?" His mother scold him But phayu just sitting there and stop what he's doing right now, he's now paying attention to his mother.

"Yes, I will pay visit there but not today" he replied then Continuing what he's doing. "You better be or I will be putting you there for 3 months straight without going back here"

"Whatever" he shrug. "Phayu Chaikamon!!" The queen pinched his ear unwillingly being dragged by his mother, how ungrateful to respond to his mother like that.

Next day pass yet phayu ignore what his mother told him, he didn't even try to pack his things up.

"What did I say yesterday? Didn't I told you to pay a visit!?" His mother yelled like a king lion. "I know, I know" he answered. "Don't use that word to me, young man. Or you wanna see the heaven first" his mother pointed at him angrily.

"Aon!" He called phayu's trusted man. "Quickly, packed all of his things, make sure it's good for more than 3 months " phayu tried to complain but ended up being scold again. Phayu  gesture to him but his men to don't do what his mother order to him but Aon didn't want to disobey the queen so he did what she asked for.

"Shut your mouth up or I will make it for years? You choose" phayu chose to zipper his mouth and let his mother do what she wants.

"You better fix your behavior for my behalf, it be embarrassed to have that kind of behavior of yours. you're a prince and soon you will rule the kingdom, you need to act like one and matured just like your age, hm?"

''phyau, you promise me" this time no joke is tone in her voice.

"Yes mother"

After Aon packed his things, it was immediately carried at the carriage phayu will used to travel the nearby kingdom of his soon-to-be fiance. So the travel hours didn't take long to arrive there before the sun goes down.

"You're just like how your mother describes you, prince phayu" the queen can't help but to admire the appearance of the prince. "I also see whom he mostly looked like" the king added, the queen agrees. "He could be more handsome if he somehow have his mother's eyes and nose" she commented.

Before, the king and queen could even talks more about him. Payu bowed as his respect for both of them.

"I will be staying here for 3 months or more than 3 months due to my mother's request, your royal highness. And I hope you don't mind having me here" he says in polite way.

"I don't mind actually. I am gladly to have my future son in-law here" she genuinely smiled. "I will immediately prepared the guest room for you. For now, you can walked around until it was ready"

"Yes, your royal highness " he bowed before leaving.

"He and Varain would be a perfectly couple, do yah think?" The queen's childish talk once again. "Not only perfect, More than perfect, my queen" he corrected.

Rain finished his second training, today's lesson is learning the royal etiquettes. He learn how to talk in a formal way, even the formal way of eating, or even holding a tea cup and teapot in a proper way. Rain failed to learn all of those, even of any of it can't be completed by him.

"Ugh! Why it's so hard to completing this task!" Rain groan.

Rain is in his favorite place to hangout yet he didn't go there to relax or became he is nored, instead he's trying to complete the first task ostel have to him: talking in formal way.

"Hello, mother~" rain tried but he sounded none of those people he tried to interpret, he more sounds like the bratty princess who came here in his first week here.  "Why! Just Why!?" He shouted.

Rain supposed to leave and head back to his room, but suddenly forgotten that he's sitting on the trees branch. "Ahh!"But rain didn't felt any pain, he felt a strong arms instead. Mistakenly them as ostel's.

"Thanks for catch me, ostel" but once his eye landed on that man's pair of eyes, rain realize it's not ostel who catches him.

The two stayed there for almost a minute with the same position.

"Oh, sorry" he landed him gently.

Rain viewed him his clothes is more likely to be wear by a prince even if his clothes are simple just like the gardeners but rain also thought other wise, he was not sure on his decision either. So he choose to asked him.

"Um.. did you come here or..." He hesitates. "A servant?" Phayu huffed and play with the him whom he just met earlier. "I am a servant here and you?" He lied. "What do yah think?" Phayu almost step back the way he talks. "You're the prince?" He guess.

Rain fake laughed "haha. I know right? I am the prince but I don't looked like one. Even Someone bratty princess mistaken me as a servant here" he told. "Really?"

"Mhm!"

"Btw, don't you have work to do? You should be leaving now or else they will scold you for leaving your post" rain sat up and continue what he left behind earlier.

"Wait!" He was stopped. "What's your name?" He asked. Phayu turned his head just to answer rain. "Phayu".

Phayu turned back confuse because of the prince, he didn't realize his lips start to curving slowly into a smile and it didn't leave his lips even after he's back in his chambers.

Phayu didn't expect that he will meet his soon-to-be fiance in the way, he also thought the prince will be a bratty, spoiled, and arrogant yet it was all opposite of what he thinks about him.

"What a interesting prince...." He whispered as he lays down the comfy bed. His eyes remain staring at the ceiling, recalling what happened earlier. "I might enjoy accompanied by you"

Ever since that day, when phayu have his free time he visits the prince on where he could find him. They hangout, talks with each other and anything that phayu never did with someone, rain is the first one.

"Hey" he called him. Phayu turned his head. "Are you sure you have free time to hangout with me?" Rain asked. He's confused who he can have free time with him, he knew the palace is always busy working on their assigned post, simple or not.

"It's my free time today me and my co-worker switched, it was his time to work now" rain slowly nodded. "Okay"

Rain turned his gaze back to the book his reading "I wonder if the other royal prince and princess are fine with this?" Phayu gaze at him. "Fine with what?" He ask. Rain move the book closer. "If they fine doing this kind of etiquettes or anything related written on this books" he says.

"I think so? Why?" Rain frown. "What do mean by that?"

"Prince and princes needed to learn all of those, it's not a obligation but rule on every kingdom. Once they were born, they are destined to learn all the etiquettes, historical, and more. And If the king retired and retreats from the throne, most likely their first born child is next heir to the throne"

Now rain though about it, is he the one next in line tot he throne like what phayu said? Rain ignore that part. "Wow. you know so much about the royalty's didn't you?" Phayu was pleased for the prince's compliment.

"It's time to go" phayu stand up. "Aww.." Phayu lowered "I'll be back once I have my free time again" Rain waved his hand bidding goodbye to his friend he just met today.

"I wonder where he work? Should I asked ostel? Nah..."

"Mom, you call for me?" Rain arrive at the dinning room. It has beautiful chandelier in the center of the room with different kind of gems and crystals attached on the gold round metal, it reflects as well on the lights.

"Rain" his mom says.

"Yes?"

"We... Umm.. will you be mad if we say that you're.."

Rain unintentionally spill his drink in the ground "WHAT!?"
