I learned a few things about Mason's pets throughout the years. They enjoy getting themselves into foolish situations, like Frazier getting hitched in Vegas to his girlfriend with no recollection of it happening.

Yeah, Mason wasn't happy about that situation. I got to hear all about it. Carrington wanted to celebrate his offspring's surprise elopement. I had to referee Mason and Carrington, so Mason didn't make Carrington disappear.

It also didn't help that Carrington's offspring was having an offspring. Did I mention my sister-in-law was expecting, too? This is where things got tricky

Since Hayden had to leave for assignment, Michelle stayed with Gail and me while pregnant. Michelle told Hayden she was okay. Hayden disagreed. Guess who became Hayden's wife's babysitter?

If you said me, you were wrong. I still had to take care of Mason's pets.

I swear I will whip something at Hunter's head when he returns from his assignment.

Michelle and I sat on the couch, grumbling about our husbands while Michelle rubbed her swollen belly. We love our husbands, but who takes off while a woman is ready to pop? They do.

"What if the baby comes before Hayden returns?" Michelle asked me.

"Hunter said Hayden would be there when you have the baby. Do you have any names picked out?"

Michelle blew air past her lips. "Not yet. I wanted to wait until she got here to name her. Hayden said any name was fine with him."

"I'm sure it'll come to you." I gave Michelle a reassuring smile until she shot forward. "Michelle?"

"Shit!"

"What?"

Michelle looked down before lifting her gaze to me. "My water just broke."

"What? You're not due for a few more weeks."

"Gail, I have wetness between my legs."

I jumped to my feet. "Okay. No need to panic. We got this." I rushed around and gathered Michelle's things while calling Hunter.

My idiot husband didn't answer. So I called him fifty more times before he finally answered the damn phone.

Gail, I'm in the middle of something.

I heard gunfire in the background. "You need to get out of the middle of something and call your brother."

Why? Bang! Bang!

"Michelle's water broke!"

What? Motherfucker! Just for that, I'm going to shoot off your dick before you die a slow, painful death!

"Finish what you're doing. I need to get Michelle to the hospital." I ended the call as Michelle screamed in pain. I grabbed her bag and helped her to the car before driving like a bat out of hell to the hospital. I didn't have time to wait for Hunter to finish what he was doing. A baby was coming.

The asshole shot me! So I kept my word and shot off his dick before making his death slow and painful. One of the men patched up the bullet graze I received while I left to get Hayden.

The chopper touched down near Hayden's location. I climbed out and hurried toward him. Once I reached him, I gave him the news. He didn't hesitate to leave with me. If my brother didn't show up for his daughter's birth, he wouldn't have a family because his wife would kill him. Then, I would have to hide the body.
