"I've something to tell you." the words left her mouth made me uneasy, feels like she's going to bombard me with something unanticipated.
I avoid her stare, looking everywhere but her, intentionally. "I have appointed someone for your study sessions" She told me without wasting single second.
"I already told you not to bother yourself" I sarcastically stated.
"I'm not bothered Ava, it's my duty to help you improving your study. " She retort.
I roll my eyes and shifted on a comfortable posture. "Albert is willingly ready to help me anytime...and I'll ask him if I have difficulties in studies"
"Anyways I don't think I need anyone to tutor me I'll succeed in this term just like earlier"
"Getting few marks can not be considered as success."
"And do not forget that I got 96 in maths" I reminded.
Totally neglecting my statement she continues. "Apart from it your brother is going to graduate soon and I am not approving that you can get his help. he have so many things to do rather than babysitting you" The way she roll out the last words shows Bitterness and annoyance in her voice.
"Like I'm asking for your approval" I muttered
Not giving a damn to what I told her she began speaking again. " Your tutor is about to come shortly, you can discuss the syllabus and the subjects probably all in which you're having difficulty, so that it will make him easy to work on you" She taunted, I open my mouth to object but she cut me off again. " And I would never prefer you to taint my image in front of him after all he's son of my friend. And if I find you doing anything unneces___"
My voice turn a bit loud and furious when I interrupted her speech while slamming my palms on the table which create a loud sound."I've told you before and I'm telling you again that I don't need it so please stop doing anything for me without my consent"
It takes her no time to walk close to me, grabbing my jaw between her manicured fingers and shove me back into the chair. Her hold was painfully tight on my flesh that might leave imprint on it.
Her features lit up with anger as her vocals "listen. I've so many things to do rather than arguing with you. Why can't the simple thing fit in you pea sized brain that I've all rights to do whatever with you or shall I assume that you forgot about our agreement?
" If that's the case then I would love to remind you that you're still in my guardianship Ava Hernandez. And till the day you turn eighteen you have to follow my direction and I would not allow you to spoil my image by getting handful marks in your exam sheets. I can't tolerate my family talking bad behind my back again just because of you!"
