Dear Emma,
You came over today. I told my parents right away that we were dating when we started. You came to my room and looked around. Looked around at all of my posters and pictures of you everywhere.
I admired how you looked at things. Your eyes always glistened like you were looking at a starry night. I went to my drawer and pulled out my favourite sweatshirt. It was one we made when we were little.
A small gray sweatshirt for a 8 year old probably and a little torn up. We signed our names on it with a little heart in between. It was the same year as July 4th , 2007. Then I took out an old frame we also made when we were little. I asked you to help put the sweatshirt in the frame and hang it up with me. Before I go to bed at night I look at it and say a prayer to end up with you.
