Dear Emma,
I saw you at school today. You wore an oversized gray sweater with black jeans. You looked more gorgeous then anyone ever would without even trying. And you were laughing at something. It was a joke some guy told you. You stared at him with loving eyes. It made me sick. My heart developed a painful cramp. I was so glad we hang out often. We still did our late night texts and I still was able to make you laugh , but something was wrong. It was like I was an extra. Like you didn't have time for me. As greedy as it sounds , I wanted more than what we had.  I thought you wanted us to be together , but you wanted other guys.   Maybe you wouldn't ever remember July 4th, 2007.
Thinking that , I left school early. I asked to go to the bathroom and decided to go to one of our favorite places. I sat at the lake. At the end of the day, my notepad was filled with songs and drawings of you.
