"Long ago, the world was not completely dominated by autonomous kingdoms but each part of the Novus was sectioned into kingdoms where each was ruled by a king and his queen.

The world was initially destroyed by the first invasions from the famous Earth, another planet that was under theirs, who wanted to complete their dominance even in the last planet still surviving after the millions of attacks from the other worlds.

But over time, Novus found the strength that made this earth an indestructible planet: the Earth was scared of it and so tried to steal it from them in some way but Novus deposited this magic in the body of the humans chosen to rule over him and his land. So each chosen one tried to strengthen his kingdom through his own forces and theirs.

At the beginning, the chosen ones had always been heartened by mutual solidarity, but having more power also means wanting it.

Novus was shocked by the situation of the new kingdoms and decided to divide them so that they would not destroy each other."  concluded a woman with long, black hair like silk while with her smiles she stared at her sweet little girl who was letting her hair be combed in front of her majestic mirror.

This ornament was made up of gold jewels and silver features underneath precious blue gems.  The gems reflected the little light from the lantern which that night provided the only source of heat in that room.

The woman with her eyes closed hummed as she heard the little girl laugh as she saw pink bows on her head.

“Is the Earth bad?”  asked the little girl immediately after, taking the pink ledgers from the white table next to her.  The woman nodded and opened her eyes, touching her little girl's cheek with her thin, sweet hand.

"Yes, it's bad because its inhabitants are bad" said the woman touching the shoulders of the little girl who smiled at her touch.  "Are we bad?"  the little girl asked again, turning to the woman's side.  The sweet little girl with thick black hair stared at the woman up and down, seeing how that white night dress suited her so well that she wanted to wear it too despite her different size.

"In our world, there are also bad people, my sweet little girl," the woman said, picking her up and stroking her head affectionately.  The little girl was lulled by the woman's words and eventually she fell asleep in her hands.

She walked down a long and majestic corridor, stopping in front of a door, entering and placing the little girl on her bed.  She wrapped the little girl in her blankets and planted a kiss on her forehead making the little girl turn to her side with a playful smile on her lips. The woman left the room hearing loud footsteps from the main stairs.

"My queen! My queen!"  a warlord shouted from the stairs.  The woman could not help but laugh at the distress of the man who with a parchment in his hand tried to catch his breath as soon as he appeared in the woman's eyes, "My queen, the king wants her in the throne room" he finally said.

The man offered the parchment to the woman but the latter refused it, "I believe your words, good man. Lead the way for me, kindly" replied the woman walking in front of the man already knowing where the road was.

The royal corridors had always been a source of pride for the woman as she was a lover of beautiful things.  Even the stairs were always very clean and elegant, as if no one had walked up them for a millennium.  She loved to savor the atmosphere of beauty in her abode.

This did not mean that her figure was always paired with her beauty.  About her beauty, magnificent about her in appearance and personality, even her composure screamed her beauty from every pore of her.

In fact she was the queen, and queens must always be beautiful for their kingdom and set a good example for them.  Her husband was the opposite: he was honestly a handsome man but there was no possibility of being peaceful.  The woman had always tried to be a good example for him but the man constantly had the need to make war with anyone.

“Chaeyoung, did you want me?”  the woman asked as soon as the doors to the room opened.  Five men were placed at her side, all of them her trusted advisors and generals.  The king gestured with his hand for the five to leave and before he lowered his hand, the five ran away.

“Come sit, Jisoo” the man said, closing his eyes and placing his hand on his forehead.  The woman already knew that when her husband did this there was something bad to expect.  The woman approached him, sitting down and sliding her hand on the man's chin, gently asking him to look at her.

“What's going on, Chaeyoung?”  the woman asked with a dissatisfied smile on her lips at seeing her husband with that sad expression on her face.

"An ignoble man of my court has criticized the women of the kingdom of Kot, calling them prostitutes of little restraint. The queen's court, composed of her maids, was alerted by a common servant of a letter sent days ago written by that man where he believed that even the royal court was full of disreputable women, insinuating that their queen had also received such verbal treatment" said the man, looking up at his woman, hoping that she would understand him.

The woman with a perplexed and confused look listened to her husband's story but in her heart she hated hearing such things.

“Now the kingdom of Kot hates us and has announced war against us…” “What are you saying?”  the woman asked having huge shivers run down her spine at such words she said.

The man nodded understanding the woman's perplexity at that moment, "I had written a letter on behalf of the king of Kot with my own hands, informing him that the man had been executed but the king did not stop at this action" he replied after a while the man.

The woman took her husband's hands, squeezing them, putting a smile on his lips, "Whatever happens I will always be here with you, you know" the woman said, placing her forehead on that of the man who was breathing anxiously for the future that awaited him.

The kingdom of the Lapin Islands spent the night in confusion and fear.  The people had been warned a day ago of the possible war through the public condemnation of the man but they had ignored for fear that the certain end they would face if there was a war in their kingdom was true in their eyes.

The kingdom of the Lapin Islands was of second importance and strength and was known primarily for its beauty and wonderful culture.  Military forces were the weakest things when compared to the powers of the primary kingdoms.

The Islands were the only thing that made the war easier to win as the kingdom was strong with its naval fleets.  But the kingdom itself knew well that if they opened war with the kingdom of Kot there would be no hope, not even to escape from the same kingdom.  The only thing was to resist and wait for one's end.
