Ever since she was little, Hanni had always hated war and hunting.  She found them useless and cruel to those poor animals that had never done anything to the human.

She labeled the men who killed these animal creatures, but how could she say such a thing in front of the king of the kingdom of Kot who was the first who loved hunting.

Minji also seemed to take the thing seriously and honestly didn't want to provoke anything between them.  She was happy that Minji didn't pursue her because she would hate Minji for her whole life.

But then again it wasn't her fault, Minji didn't even know that she hated hunting, this thing had been causal for her Hanni.

Perhaps to express the king's favor for peace she thought of dedicating the hunt to her.

Besides this, Hanni had learned about the accident that occurred in the forest in Haerin.

This was another reason why she hated hunting: it was risky.  She asked Minji to know how Haerin was but Minji told her that it was very superficial and she had only fallen by mistake.

She didn't want to tell her about her cousin and her violent side.

"Tomorrow you can see her, now it's better if you rest" Minji said with a small smile on her lips trying to be as reasonable as possible.

Hanni nodded at her, getting under the covers and resting her head among the thousand pillows.

"I know I'd leave you alone again, but I have some things to do," Minji said placing her sword in her case.  She placed her hand on Hanni's head and placed a small kiss on his scalp.

Hanni was a little shocked as it was new but she didn't say anything.  She watched Minji leave and her mind enter a fog of dreams.

It was afternoon as far as one could tell and after the hunt, Yeonjun had killed the prey as if he wanted to kill Minji.

She cut it into a thousand pieces and threw them into the flames, destroying and pulverizing the bones.  Chaewon was back in the noble palace with her husband while Yeonjun was still here within the castle walls hating Minji's face with all her guts.

But Minji made herself visible just as she was relaxing for a while on the armchair in the guest room.  Yeonjun was almost dozing off.

Yeonjun's future wife was in front of her with two waitresses next to her talking about something.

The woman stood up as soon as she saw Minji bowing to her but Minji didn't even see her.

“Yeonjun do you want me to kill you in front of your wife or in the battlefield?”  she said furiously, kicking the chair where the boy was sitting.

Yeonjun jumped up quickly in fear, pulling out his sword as a sign of courage when he didn't even understand the situation he was in.

He lowered his sword and with a confused face looked at Minji, "By drawing your sword, you have accepted my duel" Minji replied ordering the maids to come outside.

"I didn't agree to anything, Minji. Don't make up rules because you feel superior to others" he said, pointing his finger at her in a despotic manner.  Minji narrowed her eyes in anger and then took out her sword and placed it in front of her announcing her confirmation of the duel.

"It's you who felt superior even though you are total nothingness. Without your family you are nothing more than a waste" Minji replied again.

Yeonjun had a brother Beomgyu.

Yeonjun was the older brother but he had always been a failure in everything, he had always tried to be better than his younger brother but he had always been the second wheel in everything.

His intelligence was not as strong as his brother and his strength was less than his brother, his skill with the sword was terrible and he did not know how to treat a woman properly.  It was a real nothing.

He had always thought so and his family tried to remind him of it every time, it was only for beauty and his little face helped his family get him married to that woman who wasn't even there convinced that she wanted him as her future husband.

Yeonjun was the classic loser with a pretty face but who somehow tried to outdo the others with his grumpy and boastful character.

Minji had always been better than him and this made her feel even more insecure.  He had been surrounded all his life by his younger brother who surpassed him in everything, and now finding himself in the castle after losing bitterly to the same winner made him furious.

Although he had stolen the prey from Haerin, Yeonjun had lost hands down, but now Minji was challenging him to a duel with a sword he didn't even know how to handle.

"What's happening? Why do you want to challenge me?"  Yeonjun asked, trying to rationalize the situation a bit so that his head wouldn't be chopped off immediately.

"It was because of you that Haerin got hurt..." "It wasn't me!"  interjected Yeonjun shaking the sword in front of Minji with fear.

He was lying through his teeth but the only thing he could do now was that.

Minji puffed out her chest and with a swing of her sword knocked Yeonjun's sword down, grabbed the collar of his hunting suit and then said "Have respect, I am the heir to the throne of the Kot kingdom. Don't talk to me as if we were friends, I don't talk to traitors."

She dropped his grip and kicked the sword with his foot, throwing it at Yeonjun's feet, almost forcing him to use his sword again to try to beat her.

Yeonjun looked at the ground but didn't decide to take her, he placed his feet carefully and bent towards Minji, only then did he realize that her mother, as well as her queen, was behind her.

Minji gave a scream inside herself, she wanted to put that sword in her chest but her mother had just touched his shoulder forcefully and this only deduced one thing: a punishment from her father.
