The carriages lined up in front of the royal palace of the kingdom of Kot.  Hanni had just woken up from her thoughtful sleep after having spent entire days with her eyes open in the arms of Minji who, although she had already traveled other times for many days, was unable to close her eyes to check if things were okay.

She trusted hers soldiers but she didn't trust her soldiers with Hanni.  The kingdom of Kot had always been loyal to her royal descendants and Hanni was not yet fully one of the royal family of the kingdom of Kot as she was still a princess of the kingdom of the Lapin Isles.

The desire to kill the princess could be felt behind the palace walls but Minji tried to ignore that premonition and took Hanni out of her carriage holding her close to her so she wouldn't get lost.

Obviously Kot's kingdom was a thousand times larger than Hanni's and was also a thousand times more violent than Hanni's.  People had their guts out for everyone regardless of what noble class you were, stealing and killing were things that were deeply felt behind the castle walls and Minji was sure that Hanni wouldn't survive outside of those walls.

It was night when the carriages pulled up in front of the royal steps surrounded by a gaggle of royal guards and maids ready to take the delivered gifts and the clothes of the two.

Minji passed a blanket over Hanni's shoulders so that she wouldn't get sick, ordering the guards to make room in the royal corridor and announce the arrival of the princess to her parents, as well as to her highness the king and queen.

Haerin, Minji's only sister and princess of the kingdom of Kot, was awake due to the loud noises in the royal corridors and also having a strange feeling that someone was planning something against her kingdom and palace.

She encountered the royal guards in the corridors running like madmen trying to keep up with Minji who was madly running Hanni into her new room so she wouldn't be found by temporary intruders or the cold.  Haerin stopped her by shouting her name, the royal guards bowed to her and let her pass.

Princess Haerin caught her breath and then looked up at Minji who, with her breath in her throat and her hands on the girl's shoulders, was asking for an explanation from the girl that she had interrupted the situation.

"Don't leave her alone, Minji," Haerin whispered, licking his lips and straightening her dress.  From here her eyes met Hanni's.  The wonder that was said about the princess was true.  The delight that was imbued in her pupils perfected by the intrinsic iris of her strong soul was an effect that was not seen much.

The strong smell of flowers sprinkled Haerin's nose like a sea wave on her face.  She rubbed her eyelids trying to figure out if what she had in front of her was a dream or not.  The girl's pale skin shone as soon as she looked at her.

A smile spread across her lips as Haerin opened her mouth half-closed.  Hanni's beauty in Haerin's eyes had been too much for her.  Minji coughed causing Haerin to come to her senses.

The so-called prince opened her arms and brought them down to Hanni's sides claiming her as her own.  Minji looked her up and down, pressing her lips together from the pressure in the air.

Haerin swallowed, sniffing at her, smelling Hanni's strong scent for the last time, "I'll follow your advice, now go to your room" Minji said, pointing with her free hand to the opposite side of the corridor they were in.

Haerin, being only a princess, bowed to the two and left without pretext, discreetly watching the two leave in a cloud of royal guards.

Haerin had never seen such a person in front of her eyes, her preference was in front of her and had made her explode because of Minji who had been too selfish not to share it with her.

That little palpitation that she had felt as soon as the girl's smile came to his face, she tried to reject it, hoping that it had been the rush of having chased the two.  They looked like two thieves in Haerin's eyes that evening and Hanni had stolen her heart.

Minji led the way to any of the rooms in the castle ordering them to guard the room from outside.

She let Hanni in and told her to rest for a while.  "What will you do, prince?"  the girl asked, taking the blanket from her shoulders and placing it on her bare arms.  Minji stopped before her hand rested on the door of the room that was opened by the guards.

“I will protect you…” Minji said, turning to Hanni and taking a step back.  She bent down kneeling towards Hanni again and keeping his hands fixed on her blanket resting the fabric better on Hanni's back and covering her arms better than her.

"I don't want anything bad to happen to you" Minji said closing her eyes and resting her cheek on Hanni's hands asking for some strength and warmth from that touch.  Hanni looked at her.

She couldn't believe that Minji, the famous prince of Kot, was about to have a sweet moment with her for the second time.  But this time she seemed anxious and shaken not like the other times she tended to always show the charismatic and fun side of her.

Perhaps Kot's kingdom was scarier than anyone imagined.  "Don't leave here, princess. I'll get back here as quickly as possible" Minji concluded, sighing with frustration at the idea of leaving Hanni's hands for the last time and keeping the anxiety in her throat because of a few irresponsible royal guards, but she had to go to her parents and request abundant protection towards Hanni as the people of Kot are furious at the sudden arrival of the princess as well as the fact that she is not of true blood of the kingdom of Kot as she is not yet Minji's bride.

Honestly, the confusion was more than plausible even for the new guest inside the palace, as well as Hanni, but the confusion was also widespread due to the fear of the people.  Minji walked through the corridors with her sword ready to be removed from his case.

The strong feeling that something was coming at any moment was constant, and the fear that something bad might happen to Hanni was pre-existing.

She felt his forehead burn and his breath die from the imaginative and constant images in her mind of how the people of Kot might react to the princess of the kingdom who had inflicted several deaths on her subjects.

Minji shook her head trying to chase away those thoughts of her but they stubbornly returned together with the figure of her sister, Haerin.  Who knows how she had spent this time without her in the palace, alone to face the harsh rules of her parents.  His constant thoughts also reflected on her family and the possible reactions they would have towards Hanni.

Her father had always been an unpredictable man and she was afraid that the man might use the princess as blackmail and not as a bride.  Plus the way Haerin looked at her Hanni made her body boil like a steamer ready to explode.

She didn't want Haerin to look up to her romantically with those eyes of hers.  How terribly her soul had thought of eliminating Haerin the moment her eyes lit up and her mouth opened to mutter something senseless.

With heavy steps she stopped at her parents' throne room.  She sighed, hoping that her parents would not refuse her request.

The royal guards opened the doors and Minji entered leaving her shoulders behind her so that the same doors encouraged her to face her father.
