Jake and the others all sat with mute and talked with him. Then all their radios started to go off and they heard static. "H-hurry the N-n-news is on." Jacob's voice said and they all stood up and walked back to the jet field. They walked over to where all the soldiers were even the pilots where there as well. They all sat down and watched a box TV. "We have, I repeat we have atomic detonations all over America. Do not I repeat no military will go back to America until radiation has completely disappeared in two months." The general in the military TV said and soldiers became angry. "My wife and kids are there!" One of the soldiers yelled making an uproar. "STOP!" Jake yelled and they all turned to him. "We will get through this and we will be going back to America!" He yelled making the others calm down and Jake went to the Russian soldiers that were preparing to leave. "Wait!" He yelled before they started to drive away. "What is it?" One of them asked and they all looked at him. "America is no more." He told them and the Russian soldiers looked at each other and back at Jake. "What do you mean American?" The Russian asked and Jake cleared his throat. "There has been nuclear detonations all over america and we cannot go back." He said and one of the soldiers pulled out his radio and spoke into it. "Generál I think you should come here, over." He said into the radio and their general spoke back. "What do you need soldier?" Their general asked them and the Russian soldier spoke again. "The Americans are saying that their home has been destroyed by atomic annihilation, over." He said and there was static and the voice came back. "Bring the Americans to me. All of them, over." He said and they told Jake to get the others.
They followed the Russians in their jeeps to the Russian base. They all parked and got out of their vehicle. They followed the soldiers towards the door while the other soldiers waited outside. Jake, Hunter, mute and Jacob walked into the Generals office. "Hello Americans I see that the time has come for nuclear war." He said and they nodded and took a seat. The Russian general was very fit and was smoking a cigar. "I have an idea for you." He said to them and Jake nodded for him to go on. "We have enough cryogenics stasis chambers for your whole army so you can sleep until the radiation period is over... and you troops won't be getting nervous about what is happening over in America." He said to them and Jake wasn't too sure about it. "Only for two months right?" Hunter asked and the general nodded. "You got yourself a deal." Jake said and the general clapped his hands together and stood up. "Ok, let's take your men to the cryo chambers." He said and started to walk out and they followed.
They told there men what was gonna happen and they agreed and they went to the crying chambers. All their soldiers got into their assigned chambers and Jake got into his. "Let's do this." He said and looked at Hunter across from him. He gave a thumbs up and Jake gave him one back. He started to become cold and he soon backed out.
