Carter listened as soon as Eric told them to bail out. He leaped out of the plane and fell through the sky as the ground got closer. When he knew to pull the string he pulled it and the parachute ejected and he floated towards the ground. That's when the shooting started and the bullets fired into the sky towards the paratroopers. Many people were cut to shreds before they even touched the ground. Carter soon touched down and he pulled off his parachutes and held his M1911 in hand and ran towards the battle in the distance.
Carter walked into the battle and saw what was happening. A platoon of paratroopers were pinned down in a stolen trench. All the bullets flew over the men's head as the went as low as possible not to get hit. Carter saw a rebel light a grenade and prepared to throw it. He pulled his arm back as he was seconds from throwing. Carter aimed and fired multiple shots at the man. Two rounds hit his stomach and another hit him in the heart. He fell into the dirt and ashes of the burnt area due to flamethrowers. The man's grenade fell out of his hand and dropped into his position. The grenade detonated in the enemy position and dirt, ashes and blood flew through the air. The paratroopers cheered as Carter ran into the trench and stood with the others. "We should attack know and finish this battle." Carter said and his troopers nodded in agreement and prepared to attack. The rebels watched as the paratroopers charged for a final attempt at the fight. The rebels surprise was now gone and they opened fire at the troopers. A man ran with his gun in the air yelling a war cry. He was shot dead with a twenty something shots with a LMG in the chest. As soon as he fell onto the ground three others ran past him towards the enemy position. One man was sniped in the head and was blown back four feet. LMG fire cut down five men at once. "Smoke out!" Yelled a man and he threw a smoke grenade into the enemy trench. The grenade detonated and the enemy's could've see. But when the paratroopers ran in there blind as well. The remainder of the paratroopers ran into the smoke and punched, stabbed and kicked anybody in their paths. A rebel thrust his bayonet at a paratrooper and he dodge and stabbed the man in the neck with a combat knife. Then he picked up the rebels STV-40 and stabbed another and shot three more rebels before going down.
Carter and his men kept fighting until there was three left. They were all surrounded by twenty rebels. "Open fire!" Yelled Carter and a man fired is LMG at anybody that moved and all the rebels were sprawled onto the ground dead. They looked at the massacre and saw all the dead soldiers each surrounded by three or more rebel body's. The three of them walked out of the battle field and back into the forest. It soon became dark outside and they noticed smoke and gunshots in the distance. They ran towards the sound and it became so loud they knew they were close. "What are your guy's names?" Carter asked them and they nodded. "My names James and that is Jay." One of the men said and pointed to the man with the LMG. "You and J wait here I'm going to see what's going on." He informed them and they did a thumbs up. Carter walked out of the small hill they hid in and watched the chaos unfold. Jeeps with mounted MG's opened fire at infantry. A Matilda tank was doing a tango with two other Matilda's. One shot was fired and a tank erupted into flames them two fired at the same time. The two shells scraped past each other before hitting their targets. Both Matilda's detonated each other and a man was shot back from the explosion. Carter jumped into action and ran into battle. He shot rebels as the ran at him and kicked a man and shot him in the face. He kept running into the middle of the battle field. A bullet ricocheted off Carters gun and the gun flew about ten feet away. Carter turned and looked at a man with a STV-40. The man got ready to fire a second shot but Carter sprinted at him. The rebels started to sprint as well and they they started to clash. The rebel thrust his bayonet at Carter by he dodged and punch him in the jaw. Carter shifted and swung another punch at the man's stomach. The rebel thrust his bayonet again and hit its mark. The man stabbed him in the stomach but Carter was to focused to care. He quickly pulled out his combat knife. "Sayonara." He whispered into the man's ear and the man's eyes widened. Carter stabbed the knife into the man's neck. The man screamed in pain as he was stabbed. Carter let go of the knife and the rebel fell on his back dead before he hit the ground. Carter fell on his back as fell and prepared to die with the rebel. Then a rebel grabbed his shoulder straps and started to dragged him out of the battle. He was surprised as the rebel protected him. Even for surprising is that paratroopers ran past them totally ignoring him. He kicked a grenade in the air and was stabbed with the shrapnel. The rebel dragged him behind a tree and sat down next to him. "Why did you save me?" Carter asked him as they caught their breaths. "Did you forget that I am on your side?" He asked Carter as he stabbed him with a stim. "Oh, I didn't know that because I just saw the battle start and just joined in." He informed him as his wounds started to hurt.
