Some people may get confused
When they read my works
And then determine my beliefs
Based on what I write about
That isn't all that I am
I have a full range of ideas,
Opinions—my personality
My beliefs don't hinge upon
My writing, nor is it reflective
Of my total self, unless expressed
Directly as such in auto works
Something like this here and now.
My beliefs are about loving
Love for everyone no matter
Who they are or from where they came
Like that Jesus guy you may have heard
About or saw something about
Caring for everyone, helping the poor
Treating people nicely with love
That's what I believe, that's that.
Got a problem with that?
That's okay too because I do me,
And you do you. I live freely
In a country where we're free
To believe—At least for now
Hopefully it'll stay that way
And evil doesn't ruin anything—
As it claims to be my religion.
